Assuming the enemies are dumb, that's perfectly fine, since they'd go after/be revealed by the light.

If they're cunning, though, then that might be moot.

At the end of a short rest and whenever they run out, I'd like to refresh the Spirit of Vigor temporary HP on party members so they can have it for the next fight. Is this ok?

Mage Hand requires Move Action to move so haha, fat chance.

After Torinn finishes his shift, he pays one final visit to the Arcanimus. There he seeks out Elayne and presents the weapon that he received for work on the caravan and says, "I wish to take advantage of the offer you gave and trade this in, and buy a fair amount of residuum on top of that."

With that concluded, he meets up with everyone else at the Helm and Cloak, having worked up a fair appetite from going on patrol. When the opportunity presents itself, he pulls out a small satchel of residuum powder and the Vigilant Blade he had enchanted before, asking of Sariel, "I know you've been busy doing this all day, but could you do one last enchantment for me? I'd like a stronger weapon that can weaken my enemies so they won't cause us as much trouble." On top of that, he pays a small tip in the form of a few arcana reagents.

Purchase 440gp of residuum (462 gold)
Ask Sariel to enchant Vigiliant Blade into Sacrificial Weapon +2, hand over 960gp of residuum plus 50 gp in arcana reagents

Also trade in cloak of distortion and buy a plain longsword for enchantment

Sariel glares briefly, then with a sigh and inaudible mumble sets to work. No rest for the wicked.

Fun fact : There's an epic tier ring that lets you use charisma instead of constitution for determining healing surge amounts. With those backgrounds, constitution is completely unneeded for charisma characters unless it somehow comes up in skill checks or for feat prerequisites.

Artificer MC: Can use one infusion per day, infusion does not recharge

Durable: +2 healing surges

Familiar: Either Arcane Wisp (sheds light in 2-10 squares, +2 Arcana/Nature, Active can null concealment penalties in 2 square range) or Coute Attendant (+2 to arcana, stow/retrieve item as free action, Active can grant combat advantage to me if turn starts within 2 squares of it)

Eladrin Soldier: Proficiency with all spears, +2 tiered damage to all attacks


I kinda like Eladrin Soldier most as extra damage can never hurt, but the Familiar is also fun for the RP value.

I'll probably end up picking Eladrin Soldier due to lazylord etc. If I go Familiar I'm more likely to grab Arcane Wisp due to Nature bonus and light meaning I don't necessarily need to cast the Light spell anymore, and getting dim or bright light in 10 squares is kinda neat for RP.

Looking the ritual seems a bit weaker now, Sureiya attempts to use his little knowlogement about the runes he was able to recognize and attempts to mess with the ones in the floor. Using his sword, Sureiya clash it against the magic circle and use it to cut throught it.

When she senses the ritual getting disrupted, Sariel's eyes spring open as she spins to the half-orc, thrusting an accusing finger at him.

"You! What kind of bloat-headed fool are you?!" Sariel scowls. "Arcane magic is not some toy to mess with by stabbing a sword at it!"

Listening at the Wizard reclaims, the ranger simply grins and reply
"Worry not Milady. I know what I am doing here"
