I know he only did the character designs for it, but Texhnolyze is still my favourite of all the anime he's worked on so far. The ideas are a lot easier to understand than Lain, but it has so goddamn many of them running parallel to each other that it would take superhuman powers of observation to catch everything on your first watch of it.
