Wind spirits guide the dragonborn's mount in front of the gnome, and Bernkastel aids him with a healing spirit. The shaman then draws forth her inner vitality to boost herself back up as well, and readies herself for incoming attacks.
Slowly raising his staff, the lich slams it into the ground, exactly in sync with a large pulse from the leyline. The resulting ripples spread outwards, completely rolling over the mounted group as well as the warlock, throwing them off-balance and bombarding them with upheaval. The furthest adventurers manage to avoid damage completely, however, nimbly dodging the ripples that are too small to be harmful by the time they reach them. The outermost edge of the platform falls away and smashes to the obsidian ground below.
It is at this point that the earthen ward begins to slow its spinning around the lich, and several of the biggest rocks appear to have fused together... and in their center lies a black stone that vaguely resembles an anatomical heart. This stone is moving quite slowly and would be much easier to hit and damage than the others, and Sid calls out, pointing, "We've got to destroy that! It's the core of the ward! Destroy it quickly, and we'll overload the ward, but if we take too long, we're in real trouble!"
Torinn shifts as part of reorient the axis. Bernkastel uses healing spirit, Sid spends a surge to regain 22 hit points (3 from his set bonus and 2 from Bern's items). Torinn regains 9 hit points.
Bernkastel uses her second wind, spending a surge to regain 15 hit points. Bernkastel also gains a +2 bonus to all defenses until the start of her next turn.
Using mastery of the leyline, Gallard has the leyline use epicenter, hitting Myn, Torinn, Rutger, and Bernkastel, but missing Ramuh, Sureiya, and Sid. Myn takes 18 damage, Bernkastel, Rutger, and Torinn take 23 damage (Rutger reduces to 13). Ramuh, Sureiya, and Sid take 0 damage.
The obsidian heart is exposed.

Notes
As long as the Earthen Ward persists, Gallard is immune to all damage, conditions, and effects.
Gallard's stone roots render him immune to forced movement via a push, pull, or slide, and he cannot fall prone. However, they also render him [red]immobile[/b]. He can end or resume this effect as a minor action.
If you end your turn in the lich's shifting earth aura (marked by orange aura on the map), the lich can slide you 2 squares to another square in the aura.
The red areas represent where the platform will break apart. Everything on the outer side of the red areas as well as the red areas themselves will collapse in one round's time.
After tremors, the leyline uses epicenter on its next turn. The attack deals massive damage, but the damage is reduced for every square between you and the lich.
Ramuh's howling hurricane zone slides any creature that begins its turn within 2 squares.
The zones of sludge are difficult terrain. If you enter or begin your turn within the zone, you take 5 poison damage and are slowed until you leave the zone.
The zone created by weight of the land (orange burst) is difficult terrain. It lasts for one round, after which it deals damage to anything still in the zone and knocks them prone (no attack roll).
The obsidian heart can be damaged, and its hit point total and defenses are tied to Gallard's. The heart being active means Gallard can now use stone shackles and will begin charging earthen fury, expanding his aura first to aura 3, then to aura 5, then unleashing the attack, each on the mastery of the leyline initiative counts (in addition to using leyline attacks on the first two).
