Everyone but Natsuhi went to the parlor, after hearing Jessica also died.

Natsuhi went to where Jessica was, then sobbed on Jessica's chest.

Time passes, and Natsuhi fell into a peaceful sleep.

It becomes the evening.

Everyone but Hideyoshi, Shannon, Kanon, and Kyrie were in the parlor, the rest went outside to cool their heads.

Hideyoshi brought Shannon, Kanon and Kyrie with him to check Natsuhi.

They walked to Jessica's room, where Natsuhi said she'd be.

They opened up the door, which was unlocked.

Once opened, there, they saw Natsuhi sleeping.

Hideyoshi, Kyrie, and Shannon were in the room, only to here a slam and a clicking noise.

They were confused and ran for the door, but started to feel woozy and lost their motor skills.

They all saw a witch, cackling at them.

Then, they realized that Natsuhi wasn't sleeping, she was dead, and they couldn't do anything about it.

Shannon, Kyrie, and Hideyoshi's last thoughts were curses of that witch.

And the last thing they heard was the cackling of that acursed witch.

Eva was getting hungry, so she went to the kitchen to get some food.

She didn't get any food, she got a whole bunch of death, not to her though.

There she saw Kyrie, with a demonic stake in her head, and Gohda, with a demonic stake in his chest.

The scene looked like it had a fight, pots and pans knocked over, and various cut marks on the surroundings.

Eva immediately ran out of the room then felt a sharp pain in her stomach and died.

...

The surviving cry about the dead they just discovered and decided to sleep together.

As soon as they did, they screamed and saw Shannon sitting next to the door, bloody with a demonic stake..

On Shannon was a note, they glanced at it: "I am the Golden Witch, Beatrice. I killed your family with magic, and will kill you with it."

The demonic stake was in her Knee and a gun wound on her heart.

They couldn't take anymore and just ran, Kumasawa stayed thinking she could stop the culprit.

The two survivors just let her do that and ran ran ran!

Then, the two locked themselves in a room and died.

The golden witch cackling.

Krauss, finally, just decided to go for the hell of it and found it a nice night for suicide.

It was time! The time to claw! She clawed her throat open, because she is deluded enough to mistake a girl for a boy (or vice versa, silly Yasu) and then try to court said gender-confused trap.

George, being in the same boat, also becomes a failure of life and dies.

Maria, again, participates in the game.

Rudolf and Krauss, after having a disagreement, decide to settle it with a contest of who can scratch open their throat fastest. Sadly it was a tie.

- Slipped it into the food.
- Injected it with a needle after using knockout drops.
- Sprayed it in the air at some point.
- Put it on flowers which the six smelled.
- Rubbed it into the plates the six used.
- Rubbed it into their bed sheets or other bedwear.
- Rubbed it into their lamps or attached a mechanism to the lamp that would inject a venom.
- Poisoned a needle on which they all pricked themselves.
- Spiked a drink, any drink, with the poison.
- Rubbed it into one's own hands, infected the six, then washed it; after having taken a vaccin against it.
- A blowdart gun.
- A mosquito carried it from one victim to another.
- A kiss sealed death by way of poison on the first kisser's lips.
- Applied it to the victim's clothing.
- Put a syringe under the pillow which somehow stabbed them.
- Venom in the waters, which only those six came into contact with.
- Venom on the cups or the silverware.

Before I start, I'd like to have a confirmation of the following part of the narrative if possible:

All the family members arrived (Ange didn't go with them, of course) to Rokkenjima safely.

George, Battler, Jessica, and Maria talked and played around until they had to go inside.

Kanon and Nanjo greeted them, and took them to the guest house.

Gohda decided to make a special dinner, so started soon after lunch.

All of the Ushiromiya family on the island ate dinner.

Kanon and Genji were the attending servants.

Shannon and Kumasawa were doing laundry and other servant-related things.

Eva, Natsuhi, Battler, Jessica, George, Maria, and Rosa didn't eat the main dish, they weren't very hungry.
The rest of the Ushiromiya family on the island ate sparsely, but much more.

George, Jessica, Maria, and Battler went to the Guesthouse, with Shannon escorting them.

Krauss, Eva, Rudolf, Rosa, Natsuhi, Hideyoshi, and Kyrie talked about Kinzo's assets and if he died.

The servants went back to their quarters soon after everyone fell asleep.

They eventually were all asleep in their respective rooms.

Actually, no, I won't wait for verification. I'll just take my guesses now and roll with it.

The food contained tapeworms.
The food contained bits of something sharp (glass, metal, etc.)
There was a drug placed in the food that caused the people who ate it to hallucinate.

And taking a shot in the dark,

The victims did not scratch out their own throats.
The victims attacked each other.
There was something in the drinks that led to their deaths. It was diluted enough as to be undetectable.

But I'll take that one step further, as I say the food or drink contained the antidote to something, and not consuming it caused the afflicted to die.

Is that enough? Oh no, I got something even crazier in mind. Recall how there is no detective in your game, yes? The sparsity of the red truth so far clouds the entire board in the witch's darkness where rules can't reach. So allow me to make this proclamation : Battler died from the same thing that killed Jessica, George, Maria, Rudolf, Krauss, and Rosa! Battler was a seventh victim!

What say you to that?

Kumasawa is the culprit. She poisoned/meddled with five random dishes which happened to belong to Maria, George, Jessica, Krauss and Rudolf. She also spiked Gohda's personal dish during this time. Rosa felt peckish, so she called Kumasawa to deliver some food to her, and during this oppurtunity Kumasawa killed her. (not through poison). When everyone was discussing things in the parlor, before they noticed Rosa died, she set up a device in the cousins room that would poison the occupiers when the door was closed. This device killed Shannon (who is also Kanon), Hideyoshi and Kyrie.

When she was sure the bodies were dead, she made the neccesary arangements for people to discover them. She was with Eva when she discovered the bodies, and decided to silence her on the spot (with a gun) as she wasn't finished with the preparations yet.

She killed either Genji or Nanjo while the rest were asleep, which prompted everyone to leave the room. She also set up Shannon's corpse during this time.

She directed the remaining survivors to the poison gas room to escape. She closed the door and they died

The purpose of it is to not spoon-feed my opponent the truth, I use the red truth as a denial for their theory, so they may think of another that fits the conditions. If no one thinks of anything, or starts shotgunning... Then I'll give out hints and red, but keep the truth obscure.

The clues are there, just gotta think of the plausible, and what could have happened realistically.

This story is based off the premise that you know at least most of what has happened in the Umineko Visual Novels. There is love, in this story.

So that means that Battler was not one of the survivors based on your narrative as he did not die in the final twilight, and is not Kumasawa.

For this blue, I'll take the red about Kumasawa literally as if it read "Kumasawa is not a culprit."
Genji is the culprit. He poisoned/meddled with the dishes belonging to Jessica, George, Maria, Rudolf, and Krauss. He also spiked Gohda's personal dish during this time. Rosa felt peckish, so she called Genji to deliver some food to her, and during this oppurtunity Genji killed her. (not through poison). He asked Kanon to check on Rosa in order to frame him.

When everyone was discussing things in the parlor, before they noticed Rosa died, he first set up poisoned appetizers out for the family. The poison was of a different type then the one used during the first twilight. The only person who touched the food was Eva. He then set up a device in the cousins room that would poison the occupiers when the door was closed. This device killed Shannon (who is also Kanon), Hideyoshi and Kyrie.

When he was sure the bodies were dead, he made the neccesary arangements for people to discover them. When Eva discovered the bodies the poison kicked in causing her to get severe stomach cramps. Genji noticed the moans and killed her using weapon X. (which is not a gun).

During the second to sixth twilights, Battler works on the epitath and is able to solve it. He decides to stay in the gold room. Genji, Nanjo, Kumasawa are unable to find him.

While Nanjo and Kumasawa were asleep, Genji set up Shannon's corpse.

He directed both Nanjo and Kumasawa into the trap room. Kumasawa, sensing a trap, refused to enter. When Nanjo and Genji entered the room, Genji blocked the entrance and they both died.

Battler then decides to tell everyone that he found the gold. Seeing everyone dead he goes into a panic. As Kumasawa is the only one left alive, he shoots her for all the pain she has supposedly brought on his family.

Genji's motive was his contract with Kinzo. In his will he stated that he wished that his entire family would join him in the afterlife. Genji fullfilled this request by killing everyone on the island.

Just realized that the gas room idea is wrong via Shannon, Kyrie and Hideyoshi were not killed by venemous gas

Natsuhi, Shannon, Kyrie, Hideyoshi, Genji and Nanjo were killed by trap X which activates upon closing the door. The trap is gaseous, and is usually non-toxic, but since there was a large concentrated amount it ended up being poisonous as it removed all the oxygen in the room.

I need to figure out what happened in the previous twilights but I'll give my theories for the final twilight.

Battler killed Kumasawa prior he Genji and Nanjo locked himself in the room. He disguised himself as her (somehow) and took her place. To kill Nanjo and Genji, he simply unlocked the door, and killed both of them using a weapon of some sorts.

More realistically: Battler holed himself up in the closet/similar hiding place before the survivors arrived. When they left, Battler exited the room. He first killed Kumasawa, who didn't try to run, and then killed Genji and Nanjo by simply using Kumasawa's Master Key to unlock the door

Well, we seem to have misplaced some pieces, huh. Actually it seems like everyone on the island misplaced Nanjo, since he didn't get dinner and no one summoned him to examine the 1st twilight corpses. Maybe he was killed before dinner by Kanon, who was the only person besides the cousins who saw him on the island. Or maybe he wasn't there at all~

As for Battler... Battler counts as a survivor, so he supposedly went into a room with Survivor X and died at the end. But, after that, he's still alive, and he's not the culprit. So the bit at the end is a lie. After finishing off Kumasawa, the culprit came into the room using her master key and killed Survivor X. However, Battler managed to successfully defend himself and kill the culprit.

Battler was revived using CPR. The remaining survivor killed Battler and himself. Kumasawa heard the commotion and hurried into the room. She then managed to perform emergency CPR. Unfortunately, as she was so physically weak, she died from exhaustion upon reviving Battler.

Battler and Survivor X died from Trap Y. Kumasawa was able to revive Battler using CPR, but died soon afterwards either from Trap Y or over exhaustion. The trap was activated upon the closing of the room.

Alternatively, the culprit is not considered a survivor. He/she faked his/her death, then killed the reamaining survivors including Battler and Survivor X. The culprit wouldn't even need to fake his death if he were either Genji or Nanjo, as it is unknown whether or not they died based on the narrative. Then Battler was revived either by the culprit him/herself or Kumasawa. If the culprit revived him the the culprit commited suicide immediately afterwards.


I've solved this twilight enough for my tastes, so I'll let it rest for now.

For the first twilight
All Ushiromiyas are allergic to a specific type of food. Everyone who knew their allergies avoided the food, but those that didn't (the five or six in question) suffered a sever allergic reaction which caused them to be unable to breathe. To rectify this, they began to claw at their own throats. Gohda is directly responsible for this, as he was responsible for making the food, but he might not have known the specific food was dangerous to Ushiromiya's.

The food itself was directly related to the murder. Knowing what the dinner or lunch would strongly hint at how the culprit committed the murder.

Perhaps there was supposed to be a heavy duty sleep-inducing agent in the recipe to keep people from witnessing something they shouldn't.

If the victims had fallen asleep, they would not have died.

The victims' bodies were moved from the original locations of their deaths.


Or perhaps something more obvious. One of the items served to the family contained mushrooms. Hallucinations and such accounted for there, though I'd have to think about why not eating the main dish would lead to one's death.

Hah. Before you talk about magic, you should account for the alibis of all those "victims" that Battler's group never saw.

It isn't confirmed that anyone besides Battler closely examined the 1st twilight corpses, or even really saw the corpses at all. So, it's possible that Kyrie, Natsuhi, Eva, and Hideyoshi actually believed they were just pretending to be dead!

This explains why, out of the four people who were alone with 1st twilight corpses, only Kanon was tied up, and he was taken along when Hideyoshi's group left the parlor despite supposedly being a dangerous suspect. He was actually untied once they had left the larger group.

Hideyoshi's group then went to Jessica's room, where Natsuhi had been told to wait for them. There wasn't any problem with her seeing Jessica's corpse up close, because that corpse wasn't in Jessica's room to begin with - it was in the guesthouse with the other dead cousins. Once Hideyoshi's group reached the room, Kanon shot and killed them all with a gun.

After that, he went to meet Gohda, who had left the parlor, and killed him. Eva stumbled upon him while he was positioning the corpses in the kitchen, so he shot her and left her there as well.

The next morning, he left Shannon's corpse outside the room where the remaining survivors were sleeping. Once they split up, he killed Kumasawa, and then used his master key to enter the locked room where Battler and Genji were hiding and killed both of them.

Since you seem to want to keep the focus on the food. When you say they didn't eat the main dish, they instead opted to eat something else. The food that at least some of those who didn't eat the main course ate was poorly prepared.

Maybe some of them had acid reflux so revere they clawed at their throats to stop the pain.

Still, the wording of other theories seems to cover all this. Can you confirm that all the people who didn't eat the main course didn't eat something else in its place? Or more of something else? Could it be that the reason they didn't eat the main course to begin with was that at least some of them were feeling unwell?

This reasoning is contained in what I just said, but I'll specify it anyway. At least some of the people who opted not to eat the main dish were not hungry because they had eaten or drank something else beforehand that the others did not, or at least did not to such a quantity.

Because Battler didn't eat the main course at dinner, he got hungry late at night. He woke up and wandered out to get a snack from the kitchen. While he was gone, the culprit was able to come in and throttle the sleeping victims with the lamp cord, causing them to claw at their throats to get it off.

Also, I'd like a clarification. When you say that "none of the deaths are mistaken", do you mean that
1) Eva, Hideyoshi, Kyrie, and Natsuhi really did inspect the respective corpses and accurately determine whether they were dead, or
2) all of the people whose deaths were depicted in the story actually did die?

The apecial dish prepared was live octopus. It was not the main dish. It wasn't swallowed properly, which caused the victims to suffocate in their sleep

Incidentally, who is "Nanji"?
