Writing is a difficult trade which must be learned slowly by reading great authors; by trying at the outset to imitate them; by daring then to be original; by destroying one's first productions.

Jeez, I tried extracting the arc files and making a new one so I could mix the old sprites with the CGs, but only some of the sprites of some characters work when I use it, some disappear.

So now everyone's talking to an invisible Rudolf.

The line in the script was probably changed to call up the filename of a sprite that wasn't there in the original, so instead it's just pulling up nothing. Either that or you just didn't repack the .arc file properly, I wouldn't be able to tell without extracting it for myself.

Something like that, but looking at the script, there doesn't seem to be anything different about the lines used for Rudolf's sprites and everyone else's.

And besides, all the files were replaced, so they must have had the same directories and names.

Well, if it were calling for a file that wasn't in the original, it'd still be there, since all I did was copy the tati directory to replace any duplicates.

Anyway, I'll try to make it again.

Could there be a size limit on nsas that are loaded? It could have been because I didn't compress the bmps last time.

>"The game, especially its NES version, was received positively in Japan, where it was an influential title that defined the visual novel genre"

Ironic that it was a mystery game that defined it. But Lolita, being sexual orientated, I'd believe would dominant what would be known as ero games mixing it with visual novels. Either one is plausible.

nsamake arc_file [-e] in_file(s)
Creates an nsa archive as arc_file (e.g. "arc.nsa").
The usage formats work the same as with ns2make, except that when
the option -e is provided, it will attempt to compress BMP and WAV files
in the archive using NBZ encoding.

Oh boy, I prepared my answer in case someone asked this question.

I don't think I can have a favorite food. You get sick of the same thing eventually, and want some variety. And sometimes, the thing that would most satisfy you is not a food, but a drink. Like after a rich meal, you want something to wash it down with. Or maybe you just need water to store the glycogen, I'm not a Lambda. So sometimes I feel like my favorite food would actually be a drink.

Of course, that's in terms of taste. Nutritionally, my favorite food is probably canned tuna.

Hm, I thought so.

Well, those places are expensive, aren't they? Probably. After I had that episode, I did have to attend sessions with some kind of person like that, and later they came directly to my house because I wouldn't show up to them.

I don't remember how long that lasted. Maybe until I was 18? I think so. If I recall, I would have been referred to an adult service at that point, but they didn't see the need.

Doesn't the title 'psychologist' require a lot of schooling, though? These people were more like counselors.

Not good? I'm not sure if I want to really go into details. But I would hear voices, sounds, and I was under the impression that every little speck was some kind of bug trying to burrow into my skin and suck my blood or something. I would see huge spiders everywhere, as well.

Well, if I said I didn't, then wouldn't it be prudent to commit suicide?

Obviously, if I'm not alive, there can be no enjoyment. I think life is full of suffering, but you can only know that suffering in comparison to its pleasures.

Some people are stuck between the border of life and death. They want to die , but they don't have enough courage to actually kill themselves. It's kind of stupid to me.

Onto the next question. How was your childhood?

How was my childhood? Depending on how you define it, that's quite a long period, and can't be summarized easily. After all, I haven't been an adult for very long.

Attempting to answer that would be saying too much, I think.
