Got my assignment back from my instructor today. The personal note he wrote really lifted my spirits, that and the fact that he said my story was almost good enough to be submittable to magazines, once I tighten it up and remove some of the slow points. Lots more rewriting, but still I'm happy to know it has potential. My instructor wants to have rewriting it to be ready for submission as my final assignment, with an extra assignment of submitting it to magazines. The 'extra assignment' he wants to give me makes me a little nervous.

It has to be a magazine that is okay with long pieces, my story is 7,500 words. Probably the Alfred Hitchcock magazine, since my instructor said it will be a thrilling more suspenseful piece once I raise the tension and stakes, and remove some of the fluff. And I know that magazine allows long pieces. I would also say the Ellery Queen mag, but my piece isn't really that mystery like. It is more drama/suspense.

I wouldn't say its impossible. But it is highly unlikely, it just means Namco isn't fully done with Tales yet. They might not release either, but it is good to know that they at least are considering bringing them over. If Namco had not thoughts about bringing them over, then they would not file a patent. However like I said, a patent does not mean the game is coming out. It is still unlikely. I'm sure if Namco ever decides to actually to action (at least for hearts) They will contact the fan-translators and request them to stop. (Which hasn't happened yet, so don't get your hopes up.) And Namco already knows about the translation for Hearts, they even asked the group to help promote Graces's release.
