Too much Japaneeese taaalk.
Also, I thought I'd mention it since Anon (and maybe Lili) were interested, but, Aion is going F2P in the US in two weeks (already F2P in Europe starting just the other day, but you can't do anything without a paid account.). The US version is having a two week trial up to level 40 (some restrictions on chat and some other things but nothing that hindered me much thusfar), and around the time this whole two week trial ends, they are going fully f2p, no restrictions, but with a shop system where you can buy items/power if you so wish to.
It is based off a Korean MMO so it is a tiny bit grindy, not as much as it used to be, but still, the character creator is really customized so you can have a wide range to make a character how you want it to look.
There are two factions, the good looking side, Elyos (human looking, elf looking, etc) and the evil looking side, Asmodians (dark/purple skinned, semi demonic looking, some have fur and tails, look like emo kids, etc), and a third NPC faction which the size is to balance if one side outnumbers another (and can also raid either faction's fortresses etc.). (For the example for the third faction, the server i'm on is 51% elyos or elyos controlled, 30 something percent asmo, and the remaining percent is by the NPC faction to balance out the rest).
From 1-10 after you choose your initial class (warrior, scout, mage, and cleric or priest), at level 10 you can choose your sort of specialization and that becomes your class. For instance, Warrior can choose from Templar (tanky/shield users) or Gladiator (2h or dual weapon based semi tanky warriors), Scout gets Assassin or Ranger (Assassin is stealth/more melee based, Ranger is more ranged but a mix of melee and ranged), mage can choose Sorc (more spells/damaging) or Spiritmaster (uses spells and has a pet based on elements, wind or water or fire, etc), and finally Priest can choose from Chanter (more buffs and stuff instead of heals) or Cleric (straight healing mostly, though these two classes and priest can do pretty decent damage/debuffs themselves.)
Also at level 10, your character can fly, so that opens up aerial combat and some spells or combos excel at that or ground combat. (By the way, skills/spells can chain into one another so there's another sort of complexity there I guess.)
Anyway, the server on the US version of the game is Irsaphel or something if you're interested, Elyos side most likely and here's some tips on getting/installing the game.
The torrent for 2.0 version of the game (version is currently 2.7, will go 3.0 when F2P) is here since the NCsoft Launcher/downloader is a pain and takes too long. https://aiononline.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7341
Once you get that installed (If you have the NCsoft Launcher already, you might need to uninstall it then let Aion reinstall it to fix some stuff), it should update (if there's an issue it'll let you know and you can click repair and it'll redownload what needs fixing.
To create an account+trial, go here, you don't have to buy/pay for anything. http://na.aiononline.com/rally-the-troops
Also, a helpful tip is once you make the account, make sure you go into your profile, then the Aion game account itself and make sure you set up your password (I had trouble logging in cause I didn't do this beforehand).
One more thing I forgot to mention that it looks like they have a lot of incentives for new players, since almost every level a survey comes up (though it's not really a survey), and they give you a health potion, a weapon, or some other sort of item which is nice.
