A Lili needs several assumptions to be positive to maintain a stable life.
It is in your nature to be a downer as much as it is in my nature to be one. I don't believe there exist people whose nature is to bring down everyone around them; if they exist, they must be the brutish, uncouth monsters of fantasies, and not the flesh and blood creatures of reality.
All writing is your own. Regardless of style of writing and direction of story, all writing is your own from the moment you string together letters to form words. (and consequently, string those together to form sentences, and those into paragraphs, those into chapters and those into a story)
A lot of people's writing is influenced by another writer. Mine happens to be C.S. Lewis, and it shows. I also take a page from David Klass and Emily Rodda. I'm still my own writer because the style I use now is entirely my own, though born from imitation.
