Do not sorry for posting here your outflow: This is a place where you have friends willing to help/comfort/advise/etc you.
You know, things like that happens everytime with everyone. And do not worry about it: Other oportunities will come.
However, I know what is get excited for do something and them... Pow! Some s**t happens and then everything goes down. I'll give to you an example: Gym. I wanted to do gym two years ago because I was noticing some fat in my belly. But when I told to my grandmother (I consider her my mother), she said "No, it's not time for it. You have to focus in your studies and etc". And she didn't said this one time. She said it many times and tried to force me to do theater, but I didn't want. And this was growing and growing and I was pissed off with my grandmother! (But I never told her about my anger, I respect her a lot and do not want to hurt her feelings)
...... I know... This isn't a good example, but this is a way to say: I understand you (even if it's just a little).
About money: I'm sorry. I can't say too much about this but I know a little about this feeling. Again, my grandmother as example. She is around 60 years and still works. Why? Because retirement's money is not enough to pay her bills. My grandparents work in a trade market firm. My grandfather is too "depressed" because he can't do any dealing and he is too old (He is around 70-75 years). So, my grandmother has to do the job. She has to kill one lion per day and in her age is very exhaustive.
And they have another question: Remedies. It's too much remedies and costs a lot. And they are trying to sell their current house: It's a big house and old. They can't afford any repair.
Well... I can't even imagine how is to barely afford to eat everyday, but I know your family will overcome this! Everyone is capable and none cannot stop to fighting for a better life!
Now... About your writting: I can see you love it. I'll give to you another example: A brazilian poet. I don't remmember if is Carlos Drummond de Andrade, but this poet learn by his own how to read and french. And if I remmember, he was a very poor child.
So, if he did it, you can do this by your own to! You have a lot of willpower and can overcome everything! I know this! You are a splendid person and you can do everything!
