>I think you're misunderstanding what I say when I say that Beatrice was only revived when Battler returned--I was referring specifically to the "Beatrice that loves Battler" that Yasu created.
"Beatirce that loves Battler" is a continuation of the Clair sprite one, the Beatrice from when Yasu first became a witch, rather than having a friend who was a witch (Gaap).
Admittedly, I forgot about Gaap Beatrice, because though she was given the name Beatrice, she was a different type of existence to the one Yasu created. She was an explanation for Yasu's forgetfulness someone who was said to use magic but never actually did it, physically. Clair Beatrice, on the other hand, was a personality through which Yasu actually performed "magic" by pulling tricks on people. It was an active manifestation of her desires. This is the Beatrice that remains constant, she never disappears, she only changes when Yasu transfers the love from Shannon to Beatrice. Clair Beatrice becomes the Beatrice who loves Battler in addition to the one who actively plays tricks. The one who actively plays tricks after that point does not exist independently of the one that loves Battler. It was a transformation.
Therefore, the continuation of those kinds of tricks, those acts as Beatrice, are also evidence of the continuation of her love for Battler.
