Hmm, a lot of bugs with the new hero which ends up causing him to deny himself a lot like Devourer does. Also, if you buy some of the icons or new alt heroes and you get charged for more than whatever is advertised, just email or talk to support and they'll give back whatever coin difference.

Also, I never actually expected the whole buy all materials for steamboots from the outpost thing to actually work. (Marchers+AttackSpeedBoostGloves+the 450 gold int or agi items there=Steamboots.)

It's not a bug, Nome stated that Amun Ra's spells are non-lethal, however if you receive lethal damage in the same instance as using Q or W, he'll deny himself. It's pretty much the reason why you see Devourers denying themselves in when they get ganked.

Doing Legio creep stacking practice in Practice mode really helped me that match. Really early Port key, but pharaoh's mummies screwed me mostly. Still won~

Creep stacking is pretty much essential for a jungle legionnaire, since the way Whirling Blade works, he takes down big camps faster than smaller camps. Congrats though.

That's kind of turning him into a one-hit wonder, though. And he'd need a shrunken head then, because the charge gives him no immunities, it'd be easily disrupted. I'd be very hesitant to actually build him that way.

Thanks, I never really got the hang of it before (even not as Legio, for support to help stack creeps for others). I also learned about being able to build Shaman's at outpost, along with the aforementioned steamboots and one or two other things. My teammates kept getting baited into stacks of engineer mines.

Well, what I had in mind was Blinking > Taunt > Charge taunted target, that should leave little chance of getting disrupted.

Also, the "semi-carry" idea only works if the charge damage is still based on his base+item damage. It's stated as "base damage" in the Heroes database, but I'm still not fully convinced.

Yes, like you mentioned, this build isn't the most ideal one since Legionnaire primary role is a tank/initiator. However, it might work if this particular Legionnaire was facing off against a burst-damage team with one or two primary targets to get rid off during the short Taunt duration, (Tempest, Hellbringer etc).

Well I might be wrong, but getting some dps items after your core build might help against that line-up. Valkyrie and Engineer could just pop their ultimates and kill off the rest of your team before coming for you. In this case, primary targets like Valk, Engineer and Night Hound have to die before your taunt duration is over.

Regarding stacking, I can offer two tips. First, it's best to double stack before pulling since you deny an entire wave of experience and maybe one or two extra creeps if done right.

Second, only if you're on the Legion team. By cutting one or two trees, you can pull the neutral camp on top of the pull camp towards your creeps when they're almost done killing the common pull camp. This can be used for easy stacking as well.

The 4E encounter-building system is much simpler and easier to use than the CR system used in previous editions (it also generally actually WORKS, but that's a whole different story). Monsters have a set XP value, and you add monsters until you hit your "Target" XP value for a given encounter. Traps and other hazards may be worth XP, too, though generally things like advantageous terrain for the monsters are assumed. The only real restrictions are to generally not use monsters more than 4 levels above the PCs, or more than 2 levels below the PCs.

Right, though keep in mind that in the interest of a fast-paced campaign I do multiply the XP you earn by 1.5. It doesn't actually affect the challenge level of the encounters you face, though, it just means you face an encounter or two less per level.

The target XP totals allow for some variance, too, so "about 1500" is right. It could be anywhere from 1350~1650 or so.
