Mind that it gets +2 AC/Reflex until hit, and standard +1 Fort/Will for being in Beast Form (Werewolf counts as BF) pretty much all the time, as well as +1 to damage from Siberys, meaning +10 to my basic attack Savage Rend which slides 2 and knocks Prone. '3'

Also Speed is 10 due to being in Beast Form, and my theme grants me +2 Speed for that. '3' I'll be zipping around the battlefield with charges.

Hafted Defense doesn't work in--oh, right, hybrid form.

It's really diverse, which is probably good for a druid. Though the only proning seems to be with savage rend.

Hafted Defense isn't really gonna help much since Choco's paladin will have the Devoted Protector feat. It's only +1 Reflex. Lightning Reflexes would be strictly better.

Wary Fighter seems like a weird choice when your Dex is already so close to your Wis. Unless you're taking it for the +2 Perception/Insight, wouldn't Improved Initiative be better? It's only giving you +1 Init.

Why the heck do you need melee training? Would you ever use a regular MBA over Savage Rend? Is it just in case you get caught out of hybrid/beast form and need to make an MBA? I guess you get it for free so there's no big deal.

I generally prefer to not use summons heavily unless my druid focuses Constitution. Otherwise their HP is pretty low, powerful monsters can often take them out in one or two hits thanks to new monster damage math. You do lose a healing surge when they die (this is part of the rules for the Summoning keyword), so it's not a great meat shield. You may look into zones instead, they synergize well with polearm sliding. Earth Roots (which has a built-in slide that you can repeat over and over) and Entangle are good choices.

You don't have a lot of sliding power other than Savage Rend. At least consider the Battering Claws power, or the Staggering Smash feat.

I was thinking something like this. All encounter powers can prone thanks to Staggering Smash, swap out swarming locusts for grasping tide (far away burst that prones and targets fort, would have kept locusts but that would mean swapping fire hawk), and all dailies are zones that restrict movement. Bracers of Brachiation for improved mobility and Badge of the Berserker for no OA provocation for charging.

Also, some rituals. Yay.

Staggering Smash doesn't turn Charm Beast into a proning attack (on a miss) because Rushing Cleats only improve the push/slide of melee and close attacks. Charm Beast is a ranged attack. You need Gauntlets of the Ram for improving the push of ranged powers, but they're expensive and take up Claw Gloves' slot~ Also Call Forth the Spirit Pack is kinda underwhelming, I'm definitely in favor of Thorn Spray instead even if it doesn't prone~
>> No. 3013 edit

Oh, right. I didn't even consider that.

I picked call forth the spirit pack because it looked thematic and isn't difficult to target with, but I guess thorn spray isn't bad either.

Well, I agree that picking Call forth the Spirit Pack is underwhelming when you can prone at-will, but powers like Battering Claws or Predator's Flurry (with Staggering Smash) are multi-target attacks~ In particular Predator's Flurry with Staggering Smash is rather amazing because it slides 2 squares, prones, and dazes as a single attack, for two targets, with a big shift in the middle~

As a courier of war, Sora has seen many battlefields. On these battlefields, there were soldiers who cried their victory, but there were also soldiers who cried the loss of friends, sometimes even family.

A few times, even, Sora didn't come to the aftermath. Instead, the hengeyokai had to sneak across the battlefield - in these times, being able to shift into a dog form was most useful. The problem therein was, however, a deficit in birth.

Among Sora's clan, there are some whose blood is not only that of dogs, but also mixed with that of lycanthropes... a fiercer sort of dog, and though mostly kept in check, with that much blood in the air it becomes difficult to withstand the urges.

Naturally, this lead to a solitary life at birth, when other kids shied away and feared, and even adults approached with caution. Sora's cheerfulness is a matter of self-defence, not to dwell on such unhappy things as the past. Generally, bonds forged are short and platonic, none ever reaching deep as a friendship. After all, once the lycanthrope runs free, so do friendships flee.

Sora is in the employ of a Breland lord, delivering various messages to captains and generals spread across numerous battlefields. At times, also to people in peace, though these jobs tend to be few and the messages delivered not quite as important and deserving of Sora's skills.

The latest job involves a summit - Sora isn't quite sure what it is. Travelling as much as the courier does, there's little time to get immersed in what war is being waged and against who, and which threat is the largest threat at the moment. Pretty much every war is the same, in the end.

Accomplishment:
Hasn't died yet on any of these jobs.

Finest moment:
Getting the retreat orders to part of the army whose captain had over-extended too far and was about to be put to rout. Of course, egress still happened, but losses were far fewer. Enemy soldiers reported a fierce lycanthrope rushing past their lines, allied soldiers reported a snow-white dog delivering the retreat orders dutifully.

Of course, the enemies were spreading slander.

Ok, since I forgot that I had a familiar, I just added it to the background. Dump time.

Narerka's youth was a pretty troubled one.
He knows himself little about his birth, being a half-elf, he was the son of a man and a female elf.
However, his mother was part of a pretty secluded Elf community, and when words came that she was pregnant with a Human's son,
she became loathed by the whole community. She was exiled two weeks after Narerka's birth. All that is known is that she left
the child to a group of wandering drows passing by. The last word she said to the leader of the group was
"It was in our best interest, I just hope he won't hate me." She was never heard from again.
As for the father, very little is known about him, even how they both met, but Malagyln, leader of the Drow group, seems to
know him somehow.

After being picked up by the drows while not even a month old, he grew up with them till the age of 10, wandering through the
various plains of Khorvaire. They apparently left the Xen'drik continent years ago, since they hold opinions in strong
disaccord with the Xen'Drik's drows. He learned basics of hunting and survival in these years, even if not being particularly
good at it. Malaglyn, leader of the group, treated him like his real flesh and blood, and if he was strict, he did
cherish his moments with Narerka, and Narerka respected him like a father as well, making up for his own lack of parental figure.

Two months after he reached the age of 10, Malaglyn told him he could not stay with them longer, and that he feared growing
up with drows, beings loathed by the general community, would only hurt him and his future. He wished for Narerka to not live
a life of constant wandering and become something more.
So that Narerka may live a better life, he put him under the care of Taldor d'Medani, who he knew during the Last War.
Taldor accepted, on the condition that Narerka was to join the Basilisk's Gate when he would be strong enough.

And so Narerka was under Taldor's guard. He certainly was a different man, distant, cold, but all the same very dignified.
He taught Narerka how to fight and use swords, and by the age of 13 he was strong enough to take care of thieves and robbers.
But Taldor still didn't thought he was ready yet. Narerka then learned the ways of a Swordmage. At 16 he finally joined
the Basilisk's Gate, that group under the Medani House who hunts war criminals. He didn't have the common profile of the
group members, but his sturdiness and willingness to fight made him a really efficient piece in the group.
His main feat was the capture, all alone of Hardarak, the 'Medani hunter', an assassin who mainly targeted the Medani House.
After turning 20, he felt the need to explore the world by himself and took on a journey across Khorvaire.

As a parting gift, the old man gave him a cat. A black cat with heterochromia, the left eye green and the right blue, he was
slender and energetic. It didn't escape Narerka's mind how strange it was for Taldor to suddenly possess a cat, which he never
once saw for the years he lived with him, when he asked him the origin of the feline, "An old buddy gave it to me some days ago...
Don't forget to name him and take care of him." was his only response, despite the term "old buddy" surprisingly out of character
for the man Taldor was, Narerka didn't push the issue and accepted the young cat, which he named Moris.
When the time to leave came, Taldor simply said to this" You've proved you had some talents kid. Come back again someday".

To this day, he still is wandering around the world. Taking from his two caretakers, he is a calm and thoughtful young man,
and does not like to talk about his life. But he does cherish the people he come to appreciate, and if he values is own life
above all else, he would be willing to take risk for another's life.

I just realized I hadn't written anything relating to my choice of guild. I hope it's not too late to dump something like this~

Secrets have power. That was the first lesson taught to Tainya by her mysterious master. Assassins were common in Eberron, particularly among the house of Thuranni, and house Phiarlan was known to hire freelancers quite often, via their leader, the enigmatic Hydra. However, among assassins, those who follow the way of the ninja are exceptionally rare. There are believed to be less than a hundred ninja in all of Khorvaire, and perhaps around a dozen outside of house Thuranni. However, when Tainya acquired a manual containing the secrets of ninjutsu from one of her marks--apparently, a novice being courted by House Thuranni, everything changed.

The drow was the curious sort, and was already an accomplished alchemist. Though Tainya attempted to study the book in secret, she made little progress on her own. It was then that Hydra appeared to her once again, and put her in touch with a hermetic master who trained her to harness the secrets found within that strange book. She never knew the master's name, and though he appeared as an elf, there was no way to be certain that even that was true, for the way of the ninja is shrouded in misdirection and deceit. The master explained to Tainya that those that she killed, and those that she would kill, each died taking hundreds of secrets to their graves with them. The power in those secrets would give Tainya power over others and the world... the power of deception. Each of the strange, archaic symbols contained in the manual Tainya found represented a secret that a ninja's victim had carried with them. The way of the ninja is to draw power from death... and to utilize deception to gain power over others.

Tainya carries the manual of ninjutsu she found back then to this day. She has added many secrets to it, and the shadow magic that she wields is focused and channeled via her nightly study of the book. Though the master told her that she had completed her training long ago, she continues to hone her skills as an assassin, a ninja, and an alchemist. Her skill in poison is such that she is able to infuse her concoctions with potent shadow magic, allowing them to affect even the non-living Warforged and other constructs, as even their power can be sapped with the right application of ninjutsu. She never lets on more about herself than she has to, and there's a good chance that anything she tells others about herself is a lie. It is not out of malice that she behaves in this manner, it is simply the way of the ninja--the path of secrets, deception, and death.
