The shaman retaliates against the torrent of splashing by hurling her magic spear at the humanoid liquid, prompting Sureiya to issue yet another slash into the creature's ankle, slashing away more of the liquid. Myn's dark power draws vitality as it seeps away from Sid, and the warlock uses this power to crown himself with a brilliant halo, which blasts the living liquid with dazzling radiance. One of the vortexes attempts to retaliate with a glob of metallic liquid aimed at Myn, but it passes through the nigh-ethereal warlock.
Meanwhile, the living liquid draws upon a powerful psychic attack in an attempt to weaken its foes, though only Torinn succumbs--Sureiya and Myn shake it off with ease. The living liquid immediately retaliates with a blast of fluid aimed at Torinn and his mount, and Sid's formula activates at this point, granting both paladin and shaman a protective barrier which is only partially depleted by the elemental's attack. Rutger is looking rather shaky at this stage, however.
Sid quickly springs into action, moving into a slightly better position before letting a fire-infused bolt fly. It strikes the living liquid and explodes, causing Sid's weapon to resonate with the artificer's magic finally bringing a significant contribution to the fight, as all of the humanoid liquid's weak points are now exposed to the party. In addition, the tinker gnome's, the half-elf's, and the half-orc's weaponry and implements are all now brimming with fiery energy. The southern vortex attempts to latch onto Sureiya with a slick tether, but the ranger easily shakes it off.
Bernkastel's vengeance is mine hits the living liquid for 13 damage. Sureiya's melee basic attack hits for 28 damage.
Myn's life siphon heals him. He teleports, then uses a potion of clarity. He then uses crown of stars, hitting for 42 radiant damage. As a legendary action, the living liquid commands one of the vortexes to use contamination, but it misses Myn.
The living liquid uses digititis, hitting Torinn but missing Myn and Sureiya. Torinn is weakened (see digititis in notes for details). The living liquid spends an action point! Torinn uses resistive formula, granting himself and Bernkastel 25 temporary hit points. The living liquid uses protean wave, missing Torinn and Rutger. Torinn takes 12 damage and Rutger takes 7 damage.
Sid moves. Sid uses burning weapons, hitting the living liquid for 13 fire damage. Sid, Sureiya, and Myn deal 5 extra damage with weapon or fire attacks until the end of Sid's next turn. Sid uses his targeting weapon power. Until the end of Sid's next turn, the party can roll twice on attack rolls against that enemy and use either result.
Sid uses resistive formula on Torinn. At the end of Sid's turn, the living liquid takes a legendary action to command a vortex to use drainage, missing Sureiya.

Notes
The spaces occupied by the liquid rage and adjacent to them are hazardous terrain. You will take poison damage every time you enter a square occupied by the liquid rage or adjacent to it.
While affected by digititis, you are weakened until the end of your next turn. As an aftereffect, you are weakened (save ends), and if you make an attack, you take a non-stacking -5 penalty to your next saving throw against this effect. While affected by the primary effect, you can end it when it enters a space occupied by a willing humanoid ally that is not weakened (no action required). If it does so, the ally suffers the aftereffect instead you.
While affected by drainage, you take ongoing 10 poison damage. Drainage lasts until escape (DC 20). While affected by drainage, movement that does not bring the affected creature closer to the vortex costs twice as much, and he cannot move more than 3 squares away from the vortex. This does not affect teleportation, and teleporting more than 3 squares away from the living liquid ends the effect, but this does affect forced movement via a push, pull, or slide. If you end your turn and are affected by drainage, you will be pulled 2 squares towards the vortex.
