You enter the bathroom and search the area. It is rather simple; a toilet, a sink, a mirror, a shower, and a garbage bin. You find nothing odd except a single drop of blood on the under side of the sink. It looks as if it dropped off something and ran down underneath the sink.

During the time you were investigating Genji returned and informed everyone that the lines were down and they couldn't contact any phone outside of the island. Eventually Krauss looks over to you.

"Well? What do you think?" Krauss asks. Over his shoulder Battler and Rudolf are watching.

"It's hard to say. Genji, you had to cut the chain, right? So at the time you and Battler discovered the room, the chain was set, right?"

"That is correct. Upon our arrival the door was locked, I used my master key to unlock it. After it was found that the chain had been set, so battler and I got the cutters and while I was talking on the phone Battler cut the chain."

"Based on this information...assuming that this chain-lock can't be set from outside the room, this means the chain must have been set either by Eva or Hideyoshi themselves. Or possibly a culprit who left via the window. Which is suspicious because of the crack in the glass. I'm not sure what exactly that could mean, but that's the most likely theory. That Eva and Hideyoshi were murdered here, the chain was then set by the killer, and that person somehow escaped this room via window. Whoever it is still remains unknown, though. That's the tough part."

"I see... Let us go back to the dinning room. You'll want alibi's I'm assuming." says Krauss.

As everyone leaves the room you check the door.
The door looks exactly like every other door in the guesthouse, just a little older judging from the stains. The chain has been cut and half is hanging from the side of the wall while the other is still attached to the door. As you leave Genji closes and locks the door.

Your group then heads back to the mansion and enters the dinning room. Krauss informs everyone of what happened and the current situation. Needless to say they are aghast. You look around the room checking who is here besides yourself.

Krauss, Natsuhi, Jessica, Rudolf, Kyrie, Battler, Ange, Maria, Rosa, Gohda, Genji, Ruon, Berune, and Manon.

Krauss tells them you will be asking for alibis.

Kyrie looks at you, "I got up once during the night, around 2:10am and called the servant's room for a drink. Shortly after Manon arrived with my drink. I finished it off and must have fallen back to sleep around 2:30. I didn't get up again until Genji called in the morning."

"Me, Ange, Maria and Jessica played cards in the cousins room(guesthouse's guestroom #1) until 11:00. We then all went to sleep.
However during the night Maria started to cry, so I took her back to the mansion; to the room Rosa's was staying in. I think that was around midnight. I then went back to the cousin's room and went back to sleep. Jessica and Maria were still sleeping when I got back."

"Yes, me and Berune were in the kitchen until at around midnight. After that I went to the servant's room and did some crosswords. It must have been around 2:00 when I went to sleep."

"I was on duty at the guesthouse during the night" says Manon "I stayed up the whole night just like Genji. The only thing I remember around three was some noise upstairs. I didn't think much of it but decided to check it out anyway. When I went upstairs I found nothing odd so I resumed my post down in the servant's room.

"I was cleaning up the snacks and dirty dishes in the parlor and dropped them off at the kitchen to be washed" says Ruon. "Krauss and Natsuhi then called for some drinks so me and Berune delivered them. After we said goodnight and went to sleep."

Natsuhi goes next, "I went straight to my room after everyone left from the parlor. I feel asleep at 11:00, but woke up during the night so I called for a drink around 2:30. After I received it I went to sleep."

The others in battler's group seems to agree with this statement.

Genji informs you that he called Battler's group ten minutes before he called you, at around 9:20am. Genji also estimates that him and Battler they left to the guesthouse at around 9:50am.
