"I'll start from the beginning, this new evidence has made me go through some...revisions."
He thinks for a second, placing all the evidence thus far into his declaration.
"This is how it should have happened. Kaiji went to the kitchen to get a meal, since the only meals available were vegetables and fish, that was his main dish. The order of evidence thus far in this event is the Traces of Fish and Vegetables in mouth, Unwashed Knife, and Kaiji's Shoes."
He stops to collect his thoughts.
"When he was done he went back to Thomas' room, perhaps he had figured it was better to eat in there than in his own room, lest is smells like fish. While eating, he must've noticed an envelope in the same mini-shelf, setting down his fish there to grab the letter, he left traces of fish in a mini-shelf in Thomas's room."
Continuing even further, he mentally walks the steps of the crime.
"It must have made him want to go back to the kitchen for some reason, but the killer was lying in wait. When Kaiji entered, the killer ran up behind him and gagged him. There were also signs of a struggle on Kaiji's body, mostly Cuts and wounds on the arm. Finally having enough of it the killer struck him in the heart with the custom-made knife! The old blood stain in the kitchen was most likely Kaiji's. This was when Kaiji's body slumped over, getting Traces of Fish and Vegetables on the body."
Julius tries to catch his breath, but continues on anyway.
"The killer then dragged him into Thomas' room, being the only open room he could place him and then laid him down. After doing the deed, he left, the Blood on the doorknob proves it!"
