Now this one I would suggest to Ange. Mermaids and SOL stuff with lots f comedy on top.
I knew it would be silly, and I got it in spades. The art style and coloring does signal such concepts pretty strongly.

Anyways, from being a Persona 4 and 3 fan and even watching the Persona 4 anime very closely, I say this is about right. Same feel to it, same demons/persona/summons/whatever, ect.
I think I'll end up watching this regularly just because I'm a SMT fan.
For those who I would suggest this to, same: SMT fans. Though if you are casual enough, I'd suggest this to you too, especially if you are into the whole modern-day JRPG thing.
Not as action packed as I hoped, but looks promising.

God, that was one of the most terrible first episodes I have ever watched. I know I complained about VNs having a slow start to the actual story, but THIS! This made them look a lot less worse in comparison.
I'll give it another chance due to it's animation style and popularity, but god help me if the pacing keeps like this. I'm hoping it is building up to something.

Basically, it's a story about this kid... living a normal life... and that's pretty much it for the first 20 minutes. He reads a book about an evil flower and it's, I don't know... alive or he summons it or something...?
Love and crushes too, I guess.
Um... the characters are kind of nice, some at least. MC and family is boring as shit. Fat friend is pretty entertaining, very short appearance, but the girl with glasses was at least cute. And the love interests is your usual perfect girl archetype.

Who would I suggest this to?... I have no idea. Someone with a lot more patience than me and likes slow stories with hidden tones in them, perhaps.
Most likely will drop this one.

Finished the first Chuuni novel. Better than anime imo. Rikka is Chuuni for a whole different reason, Yuuta ends up exulting Chuunibyou is best, and it's a wonderful love story about liking someone in spite of their silly behaviour, and then liking that behaviour too.

Also, Yuuta proposes to Rikka in the novel and wants to be her Dark Flame Master folever. Yuuta also super girly. It's great pls read.

I read both of them. The amount of adorable things in the novels is much higher than in the anime, and while seeing Yuuta and Rikka animated was cause for many heart attacks, the novels are just... Ah, it would have been nice if Yuuta had also ended up supporting chuunibyou in the anime.
I also like the side characters in the novel better than the ones in the anime, except for maybe Nibutani. I'm happy with how she is in it.
The confession scene in both is great.

Trying to tell you all that has happened since 3 years ago would be rather difficult, even for someone like me who likes this place history, so I'll keep it short.

Stuff happened, drama and etc, EP5 got translated and people refused to accept Shkanontrice.
BatmanPiece Battler returned from drama arc and come as Erika, who between some things he forced us to accept it.
After EP6 most people stopped caring about Umineko and the board considerably slowed down.
Somewhere between that time seacats become mostly a "how was your day" place, then a place to post your stream links and now it's a mix of many things, including some gameboards and two D&D campaigns.

As soon as I saw the first 4 minutes, I knew what it was. But I'm glad it fell into the "subtle reverse harem shoujo" type rather than "omg reverse harem sexy men fighting over me squeeee" type. The former is much more tolerable and less obvious about what it's doing, not to mention it blend elements around it well with it's coloring, artstyle, pacing, and how the story is told. It's a very peaceful and serene anime with what seems to be super natural elements surrounding a cute story.

Okay, basic summary. Shy girl in mountains is found out to be a Princess Goddess. She wants to change, things start changing around her. People around her go "OMG your hair!" while her harem has various reactions

Pretty boy 1: Your hair is fine
Pretty boy 2: You cut your hair? Well, that's alright I guess
Pretty boy 3: You cut your hair? I couldn't tell over those stupid braids you have now since you were 5!

Anyways, pretty boy 3 is forced into becoming her servant and this makes their relationship rocky for feMC and him.

All in all, this is the kind of pandering towards girls I can tolerate well enough (as long as they don't go stupid over it). Outside of that, it's a nice and sweet story. A different kind of "slow pacing" from Aku no Hana which gives a peaceful ride to the viewer. Also looking forward to how Pretty boy#3 and feMC relationship grows. Even I have to admit it's super duper cute.

If you watched CursedxCubexCurious (C3), you are going to like this.
I seriously thought it was just a guy with hair cutting fetish and finding a loli with uncutable hair. Then that's the premise, right? Wrong. Cursed items, pasted murdering lineages, killing games, ect.

This definitely threw me for a loop, especially with the artstyle and how the story was being told in the beginning. A wolf in sheep's clothing, or pretty interesting anime underneath generic anime artstyle.

Who would I suggest this too? Pretty much everyone, especially Lion. This seems right up his alley.

Basically, it's nothing new if you are familiar with galge to anime adaptation. Generic MC comes into contact with many girls ect. And yes, since he is into photography, ALL the girls' photogenic levels are off the charts. Not a single one of them even hesitates to be questioned in being photographed.
So what usually saves these things, when the shameless fanservice is so obvious a 2 year old can point it out, is the comedy and depth of character backstory, right?
As for character backstory, some is hinted at, but very little.
As for the comedy, it's there, but only with the wacky friends and stuff. The preview shows some outside the friends, but it is literally contained with the male friends.

This is your standard galge harem anime with just a premise to make the perverted snapshots and glamoring poses easier to explain when showing them.
Of course, the people I suggest this to are the people who are targeted by this anime: people who like galge adapted stuff and the fanbase from the original content themselves.

But yeah, most likely dropping this one. Not even a second episode for me.

All in all, a strong first episode. It had the usual elements and predictability which came with a scify anime, but that sort of shows it has promise as well. The MC is surprisingly smart, which is pretty refreshing, and the characters so far seem quite likable. Art, coloring, ect, all good. I can see why /a/ gave this one the thumbs up.

Anyways, the story goes like this: far away in another galaxy humanity is fighting against plant space monsters. Elite soldier MC goes and fights these things with is mecha and does a good beating before big bad comes and forces his fleet back. Trying to escape, he is knocked for a loop and ends up on a backwater and forgotten planet, Earth. There he is confronted by the natives and... well, that's it.

As I said before, this episode shows promise. Pick it up if you have the chance if you like sci-fi stuff, mechas, and stuff like that. People who got a kick out of Eureka and Eureka AO might want to look into this one.

Not my cup of tea, but it is interesting. I'll see how it holds with everyone else to decide whether I'll keep watching it or not.

Wish Dota 2 would finish importing all the old heroes so users can start suggesting new ones.

This... I don't know what to think of it. A few of the girls annoy me to hell already, and the premise is kind of... dumb.

The story? MC lives his life with spacequakes and stuff. Oh, and the little sister. Suddenly, he runs out and is in the middle of a fight between NERV and an Angel, only with cute girls. He's knocked out, and is taken to a secret base where his sister commands a flying fortress. The imouto says he is being recruited and trained, via Date Sim, to, get this “save the world by dating the space enemy.” That's right, it's another dating sim thing, and a weird one. So weird, that it's kind of interesting, especially compared to the last galge anime adapt I watched.
But this one is a bit better. Designs, music, comedy and even pacing are at least tolerable. Though like I said before, bitches in my anime get an auto-redflag from me. But regardless of that, if you like harem hijinx and action mixed together for your anime stew, this one I actually do recommend. Similar formula, just served a bit better than Photokrap.

It's a nice set of rules that they set, but I think I'd at least give a bit more time in questioing these people.
Like: What happened to the other players? What do you mean by roulette? What's the story with this old man? Who are you two? How long has this been going on? Are those actual corpses? If not, why are they there? They look like mannequins , will I be turned into a mannequins too if I lose? No, I will ask anyways: what happens if I refuse to play the game? Is there a time limit? Are you implying we died? What happens if one of us cheats?

Honestly? Out of the anime I've seen so far, this one is the best. It's powerful, quite relatable, beautifully animated, the atmosphere is just how I pictured an other-wordly place that deals with life and death, the characters are intriguing and has depth to them right from the get go. Even how it's set up down to it's conclusion was incredibly.

Okay, story time. Some guy is taken to a limbo kind of place, which is a bar with a set of games and a roulette to pick a game. Old man is there, and he ends up being his opponent in this super natural game of pool. Of course there is a catch. being the winner or loser means life or death, heaven or hell, ect. All the while experiencing many things during the game as well. I won't ruin it for you guys, just trust me on this one.

You like high stakes games for your anime premise? Then you will love this. I am looking at you, John, anon, and quite a few others. Hell, just the premise of Umineko, the people who like that will love this.

I highly recommend this one, especially (shame really) that it's just an OAV. So the release time for each episode will most likely be separate, and few in quantity.
