Yo, I watched this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juEkoLXXoxo) just a short while ago, and somewhere during the end of it I reassessed all of Umineko and this.. epiphany came into my head.

The murderer of the series is Rokkenjima.

The reason that came into my head is because of this: Witches are literally the rules of the game board.

Also, it was hinted many times throughout the series no one was murdered. (Yes, even those grotesque scenes were just a part of the story)

Also, do you really think a murderer capable of slaughtering the entire Ushiromiya family would really let Battler go, albeit "dead".

Either the mother Beato or the daughter Beato became "Rokkenjima".

However, those two are dead, yet alive, one of them and "Rokkenjima" merged.

It's probably not the truth, but I found it rather interesting.

Tell me your opinions, and sorry for the lack of evidence, it's been a long time since I've read the VN's.
