Just finished it...It's a real shame that it was obviously so rushed. It's such a great mystery and it really deserves to have the typos and grammar errors ironed out. Hopefully they'll come back and polish it at some point...

I was really disappointed that the whole meta battle at the end was left out. I hope that will be there for the final version, since it was the most exciting part of the game...The climax with Battler and Kinjo in the burning guesthouse was great, but that just made it even sadder when the battle I was expecting to follow it wasn't there. It seems quite unfair to leave it out for those who might want to make theories for this version without having read the original thread, too. If you only read the VN then you're missing out on a huge amount of information.

I guess I'll work on making a theory over the next few days...but I was expecting some extra information to work with from the VN, and it ended up being pretty much the same text from the thread. I guess I'm probably going to end up using the same Ruon culprit theory that we were talking about months ago.

The meta battle will most defiantly be in the final version with interactivity too. Now that you bring it up though, it never occurred to me just how much information you three had to work with. I makes me wonder just how hard this game actually is.

However at the same time the game was made to be solvable just from what was in the main portion of the game, even if Kinjo's actions changed the game a lot and caused the difficulty to possibly rise. I left out the meta battle between Kinjo and Erika due to that.

I agree, actually. I wanted to add another minigame for chapter 3, for example, but time constraints made that impossible. Also, I honestly didnt think about how leaving out the teaparty would leave players a little more clueless (or possibly significantly more).

We've planned the teaparty to be fully interactive and as a result haven't finished it yet. Same with the ????. Though we should finish both quickly enough so that you won't be waiting forever to get to those parts.

Also, as anon said, I'll be hosting a game against Ozaki immediately after Repercussion is complete, taking place over my winter break. Look forward to it.
