This isn't coming from the perspective of a psychologist... perhaps~
More like what I've seen and heard from people here at /seacats/
A good handful of people do crazy stuff here and/or attempt to burn bridges in the process~
I'd name names, but I'd get in trouble for that~
But I can definitely say I'm most likely one of those people~
Piece too~

So it ain't just you~

That's good to know. At the end, I had completely burned all bridges. Though, I thought perhaps the police would find me. I guess I was right about that, in a way.

It's just that I was too weak to follow through. When you think you're at the end of your rope, your options broaden a bit.

Isn't that related to the phrase "hitting rock bottom" and "the only way to go now is up?"

Anyways, bridges may be burnable, but breaking a bond is almost impossible to do. Once it's been established, it's there. Like... forever. Sure it'll change shape, might weaken or strengthen with time and effort, but it'll still be there.

The only way to break a bond is through death, which can surely be caused by forcing a person to commit suicide. It isn't so hard to press buttons in the right places.

Hmmm, it's difficult to put such a phenomenon into words, but I'll try.
If you both forget, yes, there is that possibility. But the third party, the people who have seen that bond, the world, know of that bond. And it will be there.

A bond is a connection made by people. If I had to put it deeper...it's basically realizing that person exists, and/or that other person knowing you exist. Hmmm, I guess that might be putting it a bit simpler too. In any case, it's similar to trying to deny something like yourself or your own existence. You can do it all you want, but it's almost impossible to do. Though knowing how this place thinks, I'm sure quite a few will find a backwards kind of way to find a way out of it..~

>Kill yourself
I said death can't stop it. Just because my siblings are dead, doesn't stop them from being my siblings. And that goes vice versa.
Same with you and this Beatrice of yours~
She's dead for all we know, but you insist to walk the bridge that was once there~ You can't walk across a bond, but it is there~
I guess you can say a bond is the existence of the bridge. Even when it's gone, that doesn't mean it's there~

As for amnesia, it doesn't stop the other people nor the past of the existing bond. Like in all those action movies where the hero has amnesia. His past usually catches up to him~

Don't call me that. My name is Piece, or game piece Battler, if you like. Don't forget. It's the name you gave to me, after all.

I did try reviving that a while ago, but I only got negative responses. I'm not interested in playing an act nobody wants to see. Aside, perhaps, from someone who isn't around that much.

A witch can't laze around doing nothing; it's poison. Since I laze around doing nothing, I'm not a witch. And that will continue for as long as I am too useless to create anything entertaining of my own.

You're talking from our standpoint, I'm talking about losing that bond as the person who loses their memory.

For example, I only have partial memory loss, time is irrelevant to me. As it comes it feels normal, but my memory loss makes it go so fast that years seem to only have been last week. If I had full on memory loss it wouldn't be like the movies, I can guarantee that.
