The worst part is that, once introduced to me, she made many attempts to talk to me afterwards and it eventually became glaringly obvious that she was interested in me. Romantically. I just wanted no part of that. I weighed less than 45kg at the time and I wouldn't doubt if her weight was somewhere over 120kg, she'd have broken me like a piece of straw. On top of that, she was one of those obnoxious weeaboos who draw badly proportioned yaoi images in their schoolwork notes and "squee" like pigs when they see something that excites them.
I've known a couple of girls in the past who were okay gamers, my own cousin being one of them. I think the problem isn't with "gamer girls" exactly, but rather obnoxious "XxGamer GurlzxX" who seem to derive more pleasure from making their gender known to the world even in online games than actually playing the games themselves.

Nah, at most I'd just go out of my way to avoid that friend's friend, while trying to keep intact my relationship with the actual friend himself who isn't a complete idiot.
