The scene with Irisviel flipping out was very well acted. The fight with Lancelot was awful and I was hyped. I hope they make that longer in the BD. She's fighting one of her knights of the round table ffs.

Oh, yeah, they totally skimmed that. Thank god we had a fun loli Rin episode, since anime only viewers have no idea what's up with Lancelot. W-Why do you think I wouldn't be Belphe? It's not like I'm Piisu trying to trick you again or anything~

Anyway, it's a Type-Moon work, even if Urobuchi was the writer for it. Naturally that means that anything worth discussing about it has already been discussed to death a dozen times over, so there's no real point in beating a dead and decomposing horse any further.

There are a lot of things that I'd really rather forget, while at the same time many things that I desperately wish I could remember, but in the end the present is all that really counts. Okkk.

In Fate/Extra, magic users can only use their abilities for hacking because all the mana in the world dried up. Moreover, conflict has mostly ceased, leading to a condition of stagnation.

The theory is that Extra takes place in an alternate reality in which Kiritsugu successfully made a wish for world peace (possibly with an uncorrupted grail). The grail did so by eliminating the world's mana supply, which would effectively make events like the vampire island massacre impossible. Magic users had no magic, so they shifted focus to technology instead. Note that the removal of mana would not necessarily guarantee world peace in itself, so the grail may have taken other actions as well. For instance, supporting the Harways.

This is supported by a dialogue in Fate within which Rin discussed the ramifications of a wish for world peace, saying that it would become a stagnant world that she'd hate to live in. Fittingly, in Extra, her counterpart is aiming to end that state of stagnation.

That's interesting, but isn't it a bit silly to have the one major condition in the way of world peace to be mana and magi? I mean hell, we don't have mana in our reality and we're no where near world peace. I'd think that the wish would have to somehow alter or destroy all of humanity, like Kirei said~

Not like any of those "great accomplishments" would ever really affect me directly anyway, though.
Even if humanity colonizes other planets within my lifetime, there's little-to-no chance of me being one of the people that gets to go to those planets.
Even if world hunger was solved tomorrow, it's not like I was affected by it in the first place.
Even if a perpetual energy machine were created, it'd be far too expensive for me to get any use of it.
Megaman Legends 3... at least that one I might end up playing at some point, I guess.

>>47537
The second one. Twisted though it may be, it's the only thing I can possibly think of as being a "peaceful, perfect world" for myself.
And I don't agree with that idea. I think the "self" is only what you are at the present moment - yeah, you have a past, and yeah, that shaped you as a person, but I don't think that past is all that you are as a person. It's only a small part of it, otherwise amnesiacs suddenly lose their entire selves and become completely different people the minute they lose their memories, and I don't think that's really true at all.
Well, long story short, I'm only who I am right now. Not who I was yesterday, and not who I'll be tomorrow, though a similar person to both but exactly the same as neither. The rest isn't worth dwelling on.

Well I agree with that definition of self. The only thing I'd add is that it isn't just the present defining your self, but the past as well, since everything in your past shaped who you are now at the present. If you did lose your memories you may change a bit, even if it's only in minor ways. What the hell is this though, no love for the future~?

Being alone is the best feeling in the world. The peaceful silence and absolute freedom are just the tip of the iceberg. I just don't understand the concept of "loneliness" at all, the fact that it can be used for torture purposes is just entirely outside of my comprehension.

To be perfectly honest, the future scares me. More than anything. That's why I'm so in love with the present - if tomorrow never came and this present time lasted forever, I'd love nothing more than to live out my life exactly as it is at this very moment for the rest of eternity. I love my life and everything else exactly as it is right now, and I don't want any of it to change even if I know that this desire is logically absurd.

I can't really say that I get bored these days. I've always got something to do, and then when I don't, I'm always able to find something to do. Because I've got endless free time, I just do whatever I feel like all the damn time, and it feels great. I don't get how people can ever get bored when there are so many interesting things out there to do and learn, so much that it'd take at least 5 lifetimes to do and learn everything that I really want to.

Didn't even rip them all actually, only Yoshino's and one of Kotarou's. There are actually about 1900 in total, 1.5GB. So if there are any specific characters you want then I could just grab one of them to upload instead. Note that they're all also .bmp by default, so you'll need to change them to .png manually.
Also, Kotarou and Yoshino only have 12 each. Out of 1912.

Sure, no problem. Based on first impressions of the trial patch my favourite so far is Shizuru, though I also really like Akane as well. Kotori is a real bro and Chihaya is entertaining for her interactions with Kotarou. Actually, the only one I really dislike so far is Lucia - coincidentally the only one whose route was written by none other than Ryukishi07.

Actually, you know you could always download Crass from TLWiki and rip them yourself? They're in the g00 folder where you installed Rewrite to, the sprites are the files that are labelled as "CGM_****.g00", the first two letters after the "CGM_" telling you which character they're for. Just copy and paste the ones you want into a new folder, point crass at that folder and set an output location, and it'll extract them for you into .bmp.

Oh boy, you're in for a ride.
The recommended route order is Kotori -> Chihaya -> Shizuru -> Lucia -> Akane -> MOON -> Terra

>Ultimately, Tanaka wrote the story leading up to the heroine's routes, Kotori's and Akane's scanarios, the Moon and Terra routes, and the bonus Oppai route. Tonokawa wrote Chihaya's and Sizuru's routes, and Ryukishi07 wrote Lucia's story.[1]
From wikipedia. The Moon and Terra routes basically being the True routes, which you need to complete everyone else's to unlock.

Oh right, also dick around with Mappie as much as you possibly can. You more you fly your cursor across the map, the more hidden events and extended scenes you'll unlock. It adds a whole bunch of shit and is probably part of what makes the Common route so damn long, but some of the scenes are absolutely hilarious, especially when they involve Yoshino.

The worse is, I've got my Science exam this Friday and my French Oral next Wednesday, which I need to study and still didn't do. Well I can only blame myself.

This is bad.

Well, I do consider 10%+ move speed to be an essential stat for boots~ Since you can't get +move speed elsewhere, except for certain legendary or set items~

I suppose I take the mobility-enhancing abilities of the demon hunter for granted~ I do love Tactical Advantage (big movespeed boost whenever I use Vault or Smokescreen, both of which I use and are evasive skills in and of themselves)~

Don't bother going over 10-12%, the items needed are way too expensive now. The cheapest Unity with buyout is 600k and it's trash, Lacuni Prowlers are like 2mil for bad ones even with the nerfed attack speed.
