Try having a root canal done because of an injury received ten years prior. If I hadn't reported my jaw aching, then...

I've had several teeth removed for various reasons including all of my premolars, and my top left central incisor because that one got cracked in half the time I got hit in the face with a metal baseball bat (the bottom right central incisor also got chipped, but the tooth itself remained mostly intact so I got to keep that one).
Then I had to get braces in order to pull all the scattered teeth back together because otherwise I'd have been left with four huge gaps where my premolars used to be. If it ever turned out that I had wisdom teeth that needed to be removed, then I tell you that would just be a real kick in the teeth (almost literally).
