Rin, I need to know if plucking your wisdom teeth with general anesthetic aka knock me out with drugs is a risky op. My dentist tells me I might end up with a permanent numbness or something.

Permanent numbness is usually caused by nerve damage during the operation rather than the anesthetic, right? In either case, leaving them in can cause a number of problems, so unless the dentist says that they won't it's probably best to get them out.

Well, I'm no dentist, wahaha~ But they never warned me about anything like that when I had them out. I'd assume the risk would be low, but I don't know the difference in medical care between here and where you are~!

I know it's perfectly normal to be numb for a day or two after the procedure, though. The only real problem I had was a reaction to the IV, but I'm pretty sure that's just because I'm not good at all with needles, and the nurse messed up sticking it in the first time (my arm got all bruised up)~!

Anyway other than missing my voice I'm fine, so I'll get to updating parlor. Just wait until I finish drawing the map. I've decided to scrap the old one and create a wholly new one that better suits my needs. (the old one was a maze)

By the way, anyone know a good place to get sound effects for people talking (at a theatre for example!) and stuff? Since I'm rewriting this one series, I figure I'll redo the music selection as well (since I picked those at whim) but I find I'll need something different for the theatre for fear of making it all one long loop of the same song with variety inserted every now and again.

Yeh, according to my x-ray, the left tooth is quite close to the nerve, hence the risk. I'm still considering if I should take the Local Anesthetic route instead and endure two sessions of teeth pulling wide awake

I had mine pulled and didn't have any problems afterwards. Ate solid food that night, didn't need meds or felt any pain.

As for the day of the procedure, that general anesthetic makes me really nauseous so all I even tried to eat was a popsicle but I ended up just throwing it back up~ It was more of a concern to me that food tasted kinda different/weird to me for a week or two afterwards~

...Well, there've been worse, I guess. Though living with my mother again is driving me back to drink, as in today alone she's somehow managed to: break 3 ornaments, flood the bathroom, clog the toilet, drop and break a glass and a plate, and subsequently cry about how everything has been going horribly for her lately.
Honestly, I'm just not that great at dealing with overly emotional people like her. It's a bit stressful, to say the least, but I guess it'll just take a bit of getting used to.

Enough of my complaints though, how've you been lately? Feels like ages since you and I last talked like this.
