Oh yeah, Shako's suit was really cool. That shield thing on one arm with the extending-nail is a really impressive weapon, but overall the suit just seems a lot better than the mass-produced ones that the rest of the mercenaries used.
I think I prefer Chirico's suit to the rest in the Kummen arc so far, probably because I've gotten more used to seeing it since the beginning of the series when it just seemed a bit clunky and impractical at first.
The incredibly limited range of vision on the suits is the one part that I'm both impressed with and irritated at, the former because it's a much more realistic touch than these mecha suits that you often get with 180 or even 360 degree perfect visual, and the latter because it seems like it'd be unbelievably difficult to actually operate properly with it in battle with how incredibly slowly the scope on the helmet seems to move sometimes.
The only thing that really bugs me is how Chirico's abilities seem to be on-par even with those of a PS, but I'd just chalked that up to the whole "Red Shoulder" thing so far. Hopefully that OVA will help clear up some of that, then.
