Correction: I haven't finished either FSN or Umineko. I started both but I have VN-ADD or something. It's easy to find things to do I think, I never suffer from boredom. Guess I'd make a pretty terrible Witch.

Or perhaps someone who cannot be bored cannot become a witch, for they don't have the fierce dedication that fighting recalcitrant boredom leads to.

I guess that depends on if a Witch needs dedication. A Witch without boredom would have an edge, but wasn't it the philosophy that if you reach perfection, boredom automatically comes with it? Either they haven't reached the final plateau or they've overcome it completely~

The state of being a witch can't necessarily cause boredom, or there would be no point in trying to fight that boredom at all. Obviously, one can be a witch and yet not bored.

Although witchdom is not perfection, that's only creator witches. And they probably need to worry more about the possibility of whimming themselves out of existence in and instant, as Lambda's diary details.

It's fine. I'm still on the first half of the Unlimited Blade Works route as well. I don't expect to finish it and probably will never will.
