I don't think it's necessarily boring, but I've played in a fair share of level 1 campaigns that never managed past that already.

Further, there are a lot of builds that don't really distinguish themselves within their respective class until they at least get a few feats.

Well, 8 is good too. Really, whatever works for you is fine.

I like level 9 because of the range of magic items it offers--8-10 is a good range as you have access to most +2, but you don't have access to any +3 so you don't feel pressured to take a "Magic X," and you have enough gold left over to grab a few items for other slots (including say Iron Armbands of Power).

Level 8 is also a good range, as the 7-9 item selection is pretty darned good as well. I think Feyslaughter is level 9 so I can still pick that up.

Though I did mean it that I could still make a level 1 Brawler, they're fun and distinctive at just about any level.

Anyway, I'm stepping out for a bit. Feenie, you should let me know through e-mail or whatevs what character you want. If I don't have it I can rip it again, that's probably not a problem. I just need to rediscover how I did it! I remember Lunar was fairly easy to dissect, though, so hopefully there'll be no issues.

Maybe 34-tan has all the files, I remember I ripped them all and then divided them between characters I actually like. If you have them all, 34-tan, no posting them publically if you'd please~
