Not really.. mouth feels funny, and feels weird when I swallow. Also there is a strange little bump on the roof of my mouth. Also feels like it is impossible to swallow.

Afraid of doctors? can't blame you there, I despise hospitals.
But just waiting could make it worse, so please if the problem continues don't hesitate too much to pay a visit. Who knows? Most of the times you just need to take some antibiotics to control an infection.

I don't duel seacats anymore, you trolls.

Just finished Zaregoto in one sitting. Aaah, what a nice book~ time to get volume 2. It's certainly not a literary mystery masterwork, and at times the dialogue and action is dragged down by the intense introspection and philosophy, but the story paced itself well enough.

I think the only shame is that the characters, outside of Ii-chan's relation to Kunagisa, were never really presented as being meaningful to me. They were there, but inaccessible.

Oh well. A good read is a good read. I haven't devoured 300 pages of novel in one sitting in a good while.

Why not put an ad in the local paper or something then? I recall there was this program we had where people'd arrange speed dates that was pretty fun to participate in. It's not just for love, also for making friends!

Why don't you try that?

Look, going out and making friends'll be good for you. The more you socialise the better you get at it, and if you're good at it you can make a girl fall for you.

You're getting on in years, too, and no one wants to date the 40-year-old virgin who lives in his mother's basement and has never held hands with a girl before.

Despite what anime tries to tell you.

Also, sixty miles should be doable. Else, try to find other local areas where you're liable to meet people and dare the plunge. You'll miss out on so much if you don't go, and honestly people aren't half as judgmental and harsh as you are wont to think if you yourself are harsh and judgmental of yourself.

There's nothing weird about putting yourself out there for friendship or more.

Trying's good, but you should do. Don't "try" to make friends, but "go" make friends. Don't "try" to get a girlfriend, but "get" one.

There's something subtly charming about a man who knows what he wants. There's a subtle attraction to men who aren't let down by disappointment, and don't show it. There's something cool about a man who'd approach you in a café to show you something new, or tell you something funny.

What was it manga says again? "Crossdress your mentality". Except try to dress your mentality!

Keeping in touch with friends only by desktop or laptop clearly shows a dependency on digital communication to establish links with people. Doing so by phone shows you're a modern person, and if you do so by phone it means you're either comfortable or outdoors, both of which are antagonistic to the shut in, who prefers to be hunched over a screen.

>>17654
>>17656
Voice chat is the superior way to talk to people because they're closer to you.
