Narerka sits down and crosses his legs.
"Well, to hunt and capture war criminals, right ?"

Raki exclaims, "Exactly!" before speaking in a hushed tone again, "And... Intel reports that one of them plans to disrupt the conference in Thronehold. One of the unnamed ones from what I've heard." She grins wider, "Now the other members of the Basilisk's Gaze reported nothing out of the ordinary during their trips."

"So chances are he is on this train, is that it ?"

Narerka sighs a little, and grins.

"How lucky we are then, it's our time to shine.. Do we have any info on the guy ?"

"Right again!" she whispers excitedly. "They are likely hiding out here, on this train. But here's the thing : nobody seems to be sure who it is or what their goal is, only that we can't let them reach the conference. So it's up to us to identify and detain them." The woman clenches her fist on the back of the chair, knuckles turning white, "This is a really big deal! And we don't even have many details. It's a bona fide mystery manhunt!"

Well, now we can't obviously be asking around everyone if they know or are an assassin, can we ?
So, does the fine detective that you are already have ideas on what to do ? Basically, what should of course of actions be ?"

The detective giggles quietly, "Well I never said it was an assassin, but that is a likely conclusion from what I've heard. " But then Raki frowns and rubs her fingers on her temples, whining, "Unfortunately, the best thing to do would be to get to know everyone, then subtly ask if they've seen anything suspicious. And I haaaaaaate mingling, plus my adrenaline is starting to run out."

"So that means I'll be the one to do all the work basically ?"

Narerka lets out a heavy sigh.

"Well, I guess that's why I am here in the first place after all.
Is there anything else you want to add ? If not, then I'll be going."

Raki brightens considerably, giving a smile to her guardian. She thoughtfully adds, "Be discreet, and tell me if you find anything. They won't do anything until they reach their goal, since they need somebody to operate the train. Just keep this secret, though; don't let them know we're on to them or they might do something drastic." She looks sleepy again, standing up from the chair and yawning softly. "For now, I'm going to sleep. Don't wake me until there's a break in the case, please."

"Alright, I'll be going then. Take care of yourself in the meantime."

Narerka leaves with a handwave, Moris still on his shoulder sends a little meowing of departing to Raki.

"Look. I ain't trusting nobody here. I know it isn't my place to order you, but the situation requires it.
I want to see you keep close to me from now on. Don't stray away from me at any cost, and do not try to provoke anyone the way you did again, we don't want to stir up more trouble that there already is. And above all, do not trust anybody. I hope I made myself clear.
And if you got any kind of leads, clues, on what the fuck's happening and if it has any links with the assassins, inform me immediately."
