Well, the only way to get any information out of Cidri would be to raise him from the dead, since it doesn't seem like we have access to the Speak with Dead ritual. Astaroth implied to me that we would be provided with reagents if we asked for them. Sophie or Sora could do it (assuming Rotho gave them Raise Dead for free).

Somehow I get the idea that resurrecting him won't give us any decent hint, "It was dark and I couldn't see the figure of my murderer".
Our party is composed by 3 good and 3 unaligned PCs, but Sophie herself is unaligned. On the other hand, this rich gnome could easily pay us back the moneys spent to revive him.

Shame on me for not mentioning earlier what all you can use your skills to figure out.

Arcana can be used to detect magic. You must be trained in Arcana to do this, or have the Mark of Detecting.
Heal can be used to examine the remains and determine cause of death and what the murder weapon might be, as well as how long the body has actually been dead.
History to match the modus operandi to another famous murder; the more you already learned, the higher your chances of success.
Insight to tell if somebody is lying or trying to hide something when interrogated; the more you already learned, the higher your chances of success.
Perception to examine the crime scene using your five senses.

After that, you have another 24 hours before it advances yet again.

Lightning elemental powers things that need electricity. Air elemental provides propulsion through the engine or the caboose. It's an older model, so it functions a bit differently from modern Eberron trains.

Ok, we got two enemies and two defenders, each defender should only mark one of them, I suggest Melech marking the bear and Narerka marking GILGAMESH.
GILGAMESH is a solo skirmisher (meaning very tough enemy who likes to move around) and the bear is an elite soldier (meaning tough enemy with high defenses). They probably should have some ways to support each other so we should be careful. Anyway, my suggestion is to focus fire on the bear as it can be killed first, solos have a lot of hp.

Considering which dailies can be used here I'm looking at Narerka's Dimensional Thunder and Melech's Shackles of justice. Sophie's Phantom Chasm can be useful to keep GILGAMESH in place if we abuse some push/sliding. And Kuro could also Bastion of Defense or Stand the Fallen if needed.

Sophie uses Phantom Chasm spending her staff power too to create an area burst 2. Phantom Chasm only affect enemies and we can try to use it to push abuse later and to make it much harder for Gil to walk forward.

So, you guys have a while until the next combat encounter is scheduled to happen, so rather than milling around, you can investigate the crime scene proper this time around (nobody made a heal check). Sophie also has that strand of hair that she found, which requires a nature check to examine. Gilgamesh hasn't gotten in contact with the Lord of Blades either, so if you want him to try and call off the attacks, you have to tell him.

Or you can hang around and get on your charge's route ask questions.

Or do nothing. Either way the plot advances in about a week.

For people who don't specify any upgrades or equipment changes, I'm going to assume you upgrade whatever you have equipped to a higher level version if one is available and level 15 or lower. So if there's a specific thing you want (like Elven Chain Armor) you need to say so by Monday night!
