As Baron Ulara d'Jorasco is more fond of studying tomes than speaking to various leaders about policies and politics, Garret is one of her trusted delegates that she sends in her place. Despite his strange appearance, Garret d'Jorasco is considered fairly charismatic by his peers. As a member of the Healer's Guild, he is willing and able to treat all kinds of wounds and diseases - for the right price.

Raki d'Medani is the beloved niece of Taldor d'Medani, and a high-ranking member of the Basilisk's Gaze. Despite having little to no combat ability, her skills at observation and piecing together details have put many a criminal behind bars. When she's not working, however, Raki has a tendency to nod off or wander off. Because of this, her detractors have given her the nickname "defective detective".

An inventor by trade, Cidri d'Sivis has been in constant contact with House Cannith and House Kundarak in the recent years. Supposedly making a big undertaking of some sort, what little information he's willing to give out is that it will "revolutionize communication". His generally dour attitude and lack of concrete progress, however, has earned him some ire from a few members of the Speaker's Guild.

Gardain d'Kundarak is one of the wealthiest and most influential members of the Banking Guild. His innovations and ideas have rightly earned him the nickname "Goldsmith", for his ability to make money off of nearly any venture he takes. Known for having a big appetite and somewhat stingy with his wealth, his loyalty to House Kundarak is unshakeable.

Kriv has been the stationmaster at the Terminus for a little over 35 years. He's never missed a day of work, not even during the crisis of the Mourning. As with most people tasked to the Lightning Rail, he's very strict about keeping the schedule.

Parthia d'Phiarlan is a representative of House Phiarlan. She's considered cold and aloof even by the house's standards, but usually produces results when tasked with a job. Supposedly she carries a book of secrets that only she is able to read, appearing completely blank to anyone else.

Lance d'Orien works as an engineer for Lightning Rail trains. An ex-adventurer with many years of experience behind him, House Orien usually sends him when transporting VIPs in case things get rough. His quick thinking under pressure and great strength make him more than qualified to handle steering a train on his own.

Cotton is the nautaavoranda of the Wilder family, tasked with taking equipment to their son Varis and his company of heroes. Her internal clock isn't particularly reliable, and she slept for nearly a century in their lock box. Her appearance and attitude are whimsical, but she takes her duties extremely seriously.

Peren Cooke is a cook; namely, a cryomancer who applies his powers to make sweets. Outside of his work, he's quite mild mannered, though you wouldn't know it when he's presenting a meal. Because of how cold the area becomes when he applies his abilities, he wears a lion-skin coat and a muffler to keep warm.

Thorn manages the caboose, able to pull the heavy levers easily in spite of his small size. He prefers it to having to interact with the passengers, as he usually ends up being scolded for his unfriendly attitude. If something breaks down, it's usually up to him to fix it.

Flint manages the bar and prepares drinks for guests and crew. He looks quite gruff, but people tend to open up to him because of his job as bartender. He finds it stressful that he isn't allowed to smoke on the train.

Mari Killet is a child of about five years old and the daughter of Miri. She doesn't like strangers but really likes it when her mother reads her stories. She carries a thick book with her at all times that is full of pages for her to color on.

Miri Killet works as an attendant for the Lightning Rail and is the mother of Mari. She's very brash and outspoken to guests if she thinks they've slighted her. Her broom is actually a wizard's staff with bristles on the end.

Mark serves as a guardian for Gardain d'Kundarak and accompanies him at all times. He is very polite and proper, if sometimes snarky and snide. As an artificer, he is able to infuse objects with magical power and create various magic items, as long as he has enough materials to do so.
