Main Character:
A bit of a delinquent, but not as bad a guy as people tend to assume. Prefers not to get into conflicts too often, but due to his short temper often ends up going further with his "punishments" on other people than he means to. Would rather focus on his studies and/or sports, but somehow violence always seems to find its way back into his life in one way or another. Most of the time prefers to just hang out with his bro than do any real work, and the two often end up killing a lot of time together. He values their friendship, even though his friend often ends up dragging him into trouble he never asked for.

Main character's bro:
Another delinquent who gets in trouble far more often than he means to. Can't stand conforming to rules, and hates taking tests, he's often getting into trouble with the teachers and the rest of the school staff for either fighting or not completing the work he's given. Rarely does homework and skips classes fairly often, but more due to laziness than out of contempt for the school and its teachers.
He and the MC met when they were both called to the head teacher's (principal's?) office for fighting on the school premises, and it turned out they were both just beating up guys who were bullying some of the younger students. The two got along really well and have been best friends ever since.

Main girl 1:
The younger sister of the MC's best friends, she is blind and home-schooled. A year younger than her brother, though since she's the more responsible of the two it almost seems like she's the older of the two. On the other hand she can't go outside many places on her own, so she always needs to be accompanied by someone be it her older brother or one of her close friends.
Fairly smart and a hard worker, she always makes sure to study properly and is always chastising her brother for never doing his homework or other school assignments. Occasionally she takes trips up to the shops with her older brother to pick up things that they need, since their parents often end up working late and forgetting to buy things like milk or bread themselves.
MC meets her when taking a walk outside, he sees her standing outside the front of a shop being picked on by rough-looking delinquent types. He gets pissed off and ends up fighting with them, and chases them off. MC's bro walks out of the shop, learns what happened, and thanks MC for protecting her. MC grows more curious about her and feels the need to protect her.
Most of the encounters on this route take place when MC goes to visit best friend & his sister's house, or when walking around outside and running into each other.

Main girl 2:
An energetic and sporty type who's in the MC's class, and a member of the school's basketball club. Loud-mouthed, cheerful and outgoing, she's fairly popular as a result and always looking to kill some time hanging out with people. Always looking to improve herself, she practices at basketball diligently and often sets herself challenging goals to overcome.
MC meets her when checking out some of the clubs after school one day. Upon discovering that the MC is fairly good at basketball, she tries to rope him into joining the club since they're short on members and the club would be cancelled otherwise. MC admires her hardworking and energetic nature, and the two grow closer through mutually trying to improve both themselves and each other.
Most of this route takes place after school during club activities, or during lunch breaks.

Main girl 3:
A tough girl who's often mistaken for a boy at first due to wearing the boy's uniform, but only because she hates wearing skirts. Dislikes boring people, people she considers idiots or weaklings, and people who disagree with her. She's actually very smart and gets quite high scores on all her tests, though her teachers often wish she'd put the same amount of effort into the regular classwork as well rather than sleeping through her classes all the time.
She and the MC meet after school one day after both being called out by a strange note challenging them to a fight. Actually, the notes were sent by another group of delinquents who had planned to gang up on the two of them at the same time, but instead they end up fighting each other and the fight ending in a tie when the other delinquents finally show up (forcing MC and "main girl 3" to call a truce for the time being, and them beating up the gang without breaking a sweat). The two grow closer through this conflict in mutual admiration of each others' strength and spirit, and both vow to surpass the other some day.
Most of the encounters with this girl take place either during lunch breaks or after school.
