Hi, I'm Mark Souza Filho and I'm 15 years. No, I'm not from Spain or Portugal, but from Brazil and I'm enjoying this crazy weather. Makes me feel in my homeland.
It's been almost a year since my father, Mark Souza ("filho" means "son" in portuguese. In this case, where "filho" is put in a name, means "Junior"), got transfered to USA company matrix. I don't have much friends here and since they aren't here with me, it'll be quite lonely and boring.
I came here with my parents, but according to a gorgeous lady on check in counter, they didn't arrived yet. You know how are adults are nowadays: Too busy and the world around us doesn't let us lie. Even with a better life here in USA, father is busy with his business and mother is busy with her studies in university - yes, I told me and mom came to USa because of dad, but a great opportunity appeared to her and now she is focused on studies -, so... Yeah... Life is almost same as in Brazil. There are major differences like weather, foreign language and people. Mainly people.
But I ain't here to talk about my life... Let me continue my short prologue.
First thing I did when I got into my room: Took off my shoes, layed on bed - one of the best beds I layed in my life -, took off from my backpack (my parents recommended me to made a backpack with some clothes etc in case my suitcase got lost during my flight) my green psp and started to play some generic dungeon jrpg.
Everything was doing well: I finally defeated Chapter 5's Double Bosses, eating a cheap snack pack that I brought in my backpack... Suddenly, I thunderbolt could be heard.
When I left my bed to see what was going on... That dark sky... Huehaueahu... Looks like I was in Brazil. I never liked when crazy weather did crazy things, but... I kinda miss this now.
Short after this, a strong wind came into my room. Obviously I tried to close the windows. Really, I tried. I REALLY tried. Stop to look at me like I wasn't doing any effort!
Ahem... Continuing... I achived to close the windows and go back to my generic jrpg, when I heard a loud noise of something breaking and, together with it, some raining noise too.
I turn back to the window and... A strange egg... Not only this... A digital artifact... Like those tamagochi device in 90's, you know? It was a teal tamagochi (let's call this artifact "tamagochi" for obvious reasons). Perfect, since this color matched a bit with my green psp. But the egg... Really strange. I never saw an egg like that before.
The most logic thing to do was calling to the lobby and talk to them about this event. I put on speakerphone mode and waited for them to hang on.
I got the strange - almost alien - egg. It was soaked. "Well, better dry it", that was what I told to myself. I opened my backpack and put it on it. I don't know how to take care of a mysterious alien egg that suddenly got into my room, but I know that my backpack insides were still warm. I also put my psp inside my backpack, in case water tries to ruin it.
About that teal tamagochi? Well, I'll keep it in case any kid tries to find it. Or else I'll have a new game to play for a bit.
When I got that teal tamagochi - I thought nothing strange would happen anymore -, it started to float and shine a pale light. Even in my hand, that alien tamagochi could naturally float like I was a simple feather. I couldn't react too fast, having enough time to pick up my backpack.
For the "perfect timing" sake, I heard a woman voice on phone.
"Help!", I screamed. "Help! Help!"
That was the only thing I could do. Suddenly, the pale light turned more and more vivid, more and more bright. I close my eyes and... I felt a strange sensation of falling from a high building... Yeah... I guess that was it. I... Can't remmember well.
When I woke up... Ugh... How about we just... Yeah... I can't describe very well that place. Jungle? That gorgeous, but alien sky...
Where I was? In another planet? Maybe. And it was all that damn strange egg and teal tamagochi! (Part my fault too, since I touched this thing)
At least, I could get a revenge: If I get hungry, I can eat this damn egg.
But now, what I needed was searching for life. A peaceful life.
I tried to call for someone, walking around... And was all because of an egg... Of a tamagochi... Ugh! This is making me--
Suddenly, I hear human voices. I wasn't the only one in this planet? That's great! I ran throught the leafs, shrubs. I was already imagining a village constructed by humans. Nothing fancy or modern, but a place to leave.
I was so exciting!
"Hey! Heeey! Hee--"
When I finally passed throught the last tree's leaves ans shrubs... Kids.. Younger kids...
I looked at them... They also have eggs and tamagochis like me.
"............ What the... How... You too....?"
I was mesmerized, confused enough for not even think in english and verbalize it well. I could only think in portuguese - which, by the way, I talk sometimes even in USA.
And that's how I got in this crazy place and in this crazy situation.
