Right now, besides maybe a few lurking spectators, only two people are in it. This story is about them: the Witch Doctor Kinjo and Dr. Ozaki. Who would have guessed two unlicensed doctors would stay in such a lonely place to play detective? In any case, a game has just ended. Let’s see what’s going on here...

“I knew I should have gone for the redemption motive. However it’s still a win, right? After all you said the whydunnit was for a perfect victory. Which means I already won.”

"Yeah, you won. I'll accept my punishment, as we agreed. But about the title..."

“Yeah don't worry about that. You have indeed redeemed yourself of that terrible game you made. You can get rid of that name now. ”

"Good. That was the main purpose of the game, anyway."

"Well in any case after getting over the characters and plot I had fun. Even if the best parts were me just messing around. Ahaha."

"You made a game eh? Well isn't this a sight to behold. Did you need any help with it?"

“So, who's playing it?”

“I have come to challenge you two.”

"Teaming up with Kinjo? Sounds fun. When do you want to start?”

“It should be ready soon, but there’s something important first. We need to check the rules of the game.”

"They should be simple enough. The same rules as usual, right?"

“Not precisely, those are rather old. I’ve got my own, let me show them to you.”

Game rules

The players (Kinjo and Ozaki) are normal human beings. They do not possess a supernatural skill or ability (i.e. detective authority). Nothing stops them from killing or being killed, so please take that into consideration and refrain from rushing into unnecessary dangerous situations. In the case that both players die before the story ends, the game will be considered the Game Master’s win regardless of the player’s performance in solving the riddles.

Now, let us have a look at the winning conditions of this game:
For the players to win, they will have to successfully solve the howdunnit of each riddle presented in the game; they will also be able to receive assistance from anyone else interested in playing. The specific rules on this will be explained once you reach that part of the game.

Furthermore, the players will also have to explain the whodunnit and the whydunnit in a well-structured theory. Each player will be allowed to make a single theory, which means we can have three different end scenarios: both players win, one player wins, or total demise.

And lastly, a rule to make sure this game doesn’t end as the last one did.
The Game Master (Yours truly) will have the option to correct his typographical errors, and to edit other kinds of mistakes in his posts, even red text. However, to keep the game fair, if the Game Master has to escape from a logic error a second time by editing the red (not including obvious typos), that should be enough to prove his incompetence, and so the Game Master will lose, regardless of the player’s performance. The Game Master will have to immediately inform the players whenever a change is made.

“And that’s it. If you want to discuss the rules now is the time. Also, you have to state your reward in the case of your victory.”

"Very well, I accept. To keep the game balanced, I will then ask for the same upon your defeat.
Kinjo, once I defeat you, you will have to make a pencil drawing for me. I'll decide what I want in the drawing once the game ends.
And Ozaki, if you lose you will have to bear with a title defined by me for three months."

Seeing his challenge caused some people to gather around, anon speaks a few words to them.
"Anyone interested in this game should keep a keen eye on it. I was going to keep this a secret, but it seems like now is good time to mention it:
Once the detectives start solving the howdunnit, any person interested in playing will be allowed to. There won't be a blue count limit so there's no need to be concerned about it."

The Public will be able play in the howdunnit in this game. The Public is formed by any member or lurker who is interested to play, except anyone whom I have talked about the answers.

Once the howdunnit of the game is solved, the Public may continue theorizing in a separated thread, but their blues will have no effect on the game. Furthermore, a howdunnit solved by the Public will have the same effect as one solved by the Players, however the Game Master might keep a record of it to mock the Players.

"Naturally, the Game Master will be able refuse to answer anything regarding the whodunnit until the howdunnit is completely solved. Even if the blue comes from the Players.
And about the other point, well, only the Players will be assigned a piece in the game, so only they will be able to interact with the culprit and the victims. It will be my work to assure the game comes to an end without the whodunnit being obvious."
