It is time, once again, to play with the endless catbox of the dark and stormy days of October 4th and 5th of the year 1986, on the island of Rokkenjima.
The family conference starts once again, and tragedy lurks from the shadows, awaiting the witch's signal to wage hell on the Ushiromiya Family.
This will be a game of wits and intelligence, come and flow here, the witch is calling you, detectives of all ranks and witch-hunters.
The teaparty of the witch is opened for all, sipping tea, solving mysteries, there is no party like a witch's.

GENERAL RULES

The rules of this game will be quite special. The story will be given twilight by twilight, and at each twilight you will have a limited number of blue
to use to solve each murder.
I am not expecting you to solve all the mysteries with the given number of blues, especially since they will be very limited, at the end, you will be given a certain
number of blue in order to solve all the remaining mysteries that you didn't solved yet, mainly concerning the howdunnits.
Whodunnit and Whydunnit will be dealt with separately, though of course, you better be thinking about these early on.

Now for the Red and Blue truths themselves :
Red works exactly the same way as it does in Umineko. It is an absolute truth that only I can use in this board.
Blue is pretty much the same as well. It's a detective's truth used to counter the witch's illusion.

The main difference will be in the way those will be handled :
For a blue to be effective, it needs to directly counter the witch's illusion.
And if a blue is considered effective, I will be obliged to respond with a countering red, except if it is the truth, of course. If it isn't, it will just be ignored
and won't lower your number of blue.

Quick example of what an 'effective' blue means :
John is dead inside the room. All the means of exits were blocked off before the arrival of the police.
The culprit is Adrian = Not effective, irrelevant to the mystery itself ( How was the closed room formed )
John locked the door from the inside and committed suicide = Effective

Since there is a limited number of blue I prefer to specifiy this :
Anyone is allowed to participate. What this means is that if someone is wasting blue for trolling purposes I'll just ignore it and it won't be counted.
Also, a blue which disregard other red already stated will be counted. Don't propose me that the death was an accident if I denied it in red.
Be careful and check all the reds !

SETTING AND GAME
The setting of the game, will, of course, be the Rokkenjima island, on the dreaded 4 and 5th of October.
Shannon and Kanon are different persons.
There exists only 5 master keys on Rokkenjima, one for each servant.
Kinzo may or may not be alive.
No more than 18 people exist on the island for these 2 days
Furudo Erika is considered dead after her shipwreck
Ange was sick and couldn't come

This should cover most of it. For the record, concerning the mysteries themselves, they won't contain crazy wordplay in them, though some of they will
contain a certain amount of wordplay, of course, but no Beatrice is a military sniper posted on a helicopter outside of the island. or some shit like that,
it pretty much destroys (In my opinion) the whole point of a mystery, though I admit they can be fun.

For record, The board itself isn't finished. I have the core story already planned out, I mainly need to strenghten the mysteries and do some basic checks
before starting writing it. I'll release it as soon as I finish writing the 1st twilight so the battle can start, I think it'll let me a pretty good amount of time
to finish writing the rest of the twilights. Also It may take time, a loooong time. I'm pretty slow when it comes to this kind of thing.

I posted this mainly to have some feedback. Let me hear what you have to say, guys !

Yeah it sounds good.

To clarify, "there is a stockpile of blues to solve for each mystery, everyone participating can take from the stockpile, in other words they are sharing the blues and it's almost like a team effort".

That's the basic rules for the blue usage correct?

Thanks ~

Yes, that is correct. This is why I put the "trolling blue" rule, to avoid any abuse.
