Welcome to my gameboard! In this gameboard, I, EVA-Beatrice, face the challenger, Eva in a battle of wits. None other than the one behind "Eva" is qualified to be my opponent in this matter!

There are two fundamental rules to this realm.

1) What is spoken in red is the truth, with absolution. No lies or untruths shall be spoken on red, on penalty of immediate forfeiting of victory to the challenger. However, this does not require the words spoken in red to be partisan in meaning, nor does it require that all presumptions to the meaning of the red must be accommodated.

2) What is spoken in blue is a theory supported by reasoning. A claim such as "Kanon did it!" is entirely out of the question, unless the challenger can provide why Kanon is the rightful culprit.

The challenger faces me as a solely singular entity, although spectators are encouraged to lend their voices to the fight.

At any time, the challenger may forfeit the battle.
At any time, the claimant of the name "Beatrice" may forfeit the battle.
At any time, the challenger may declare in purple. Words declared in purple will be taken as a request to have them repeated in red; the claimant of the name "Beatrice" is not required to repeat these words to the letter, nor is she required to repeat them at all!

If you agree to these terms, challenger, then let yourself be heard, that we may commence this battle.

Before Natsuhi checked the windows. Since you said that they weren't opened after that point they would need to leave Jessica's room before that.

Let's take that as your running theory, then.

To sum up:

The culprit used method X to lock the windows from the outside, and left the room prior to Natsuhi inspecting the windows.

Well, good night, then!

Well, once my challenger returns, perhaps she can elaborate, then, on the method of murder. For, Jessica was certainly killed, but gunshots were heard and a knife is present!! However, neither Gohda's kitchen knife, nor gunshots, killed Jessica!!

So my last theory was enough for you? I was just grasping at straws. Or maybe you've just skipped that for now.

As for the murder weapon..... Jessica was killed with rose cutters.

Jessica was stabbed with a knife other than Gohda's.

Jessica was stabbed with a piece from her glass chest set!

But I'm just looking for weapons where the wound in the story could be her cause of death. What if her death was caused by something else and the wound was unrelated? Could you repeat: The wound on Jessica's chest was caused by the weapon that killed her.

Naturally, Jessica's wound was caused by the weapon that caused her death.

Naturally, the weapons you described are false. To make it easier on you, the weapon Jessica was killed with was never taken out of the room, and, the weapon she was killed with was hinted at in the story!

Sorry. I was a bit distracted.

I can't see anything else obvious in the story. Figures you wouldn't give a hint like that if it was easy. So it was an indirect hint. And it never left her room.... Hm....

Forgive me, I merely liked to play around. In this gameboard, 'weapons' do not kill people. Naturally, that is because people kill people.

A simple trick of wordplay, which of course ran rampant on these boards before!

Damn. Does that mean one of the weapons I mentioned killed her? Or that you're asking me for the culprit?

It was Krauss.

You mentioned only 8 living people in the story and at the same time say no more than 9 were there. So It could have even be any person X who wasn't mentioned who killed Jessica.

And for Kanon, would his dirty shoes not have stained the balcony if he left through the window? At the time Jessica was murdered, Kanon's shoes were definitely muddy, after all!!

So the truth is that Kanon murdered Jessica. Took his shoes off so he wouldn't muddy the balcony, and closed the window from the outside, but also from the inside? In a manner similar to what I said with a tool being inside.

Was the motive formed when Jessica was saying there is no man in her heart?

Had this been the "old age" of gameboards, I would've been able to declare that Kanon never entered Jessica's bedroom until after Genji broke down the door, and Kanon is not Shannon, and Shannon is not Kanon, and the murder weapon was never taken out of the room, but the murder weapon is not in Jessica's room. Notably, after stabbing Jessica, the murderer never touched the murder weapon again!

But those would be mean wordplay incidents that I dislike using.
