Ok what is going on in the kitchen at this time?

The survivors are restraining Battler. He hasn't been proven guilty 100% yet, but they prefer to be safe than sorry. Gohda left for a few minutes, and came back with rope that they used to tie Battler up.

"What the hell? I'm not the culprit! Eva-obasan, Rosa-obasan, say something! I wouldn't kill anyone."

"...I'm sorry, Battler-san." Rosa says. "We have to be safe with a criminal running around."

"That's right," Eva says. "Besides, if you aren't the culprit, there's nothing to be worried about."

They tied Battler around the waist, with his arms at his sides. He is able to walk, but completely unable to move his arms. After they get back to the parlor, they plan on tying his legs.

I keep silent for now and head back to the parlor with everyone. But once they start going after Battler again I speak up.

"That is completely unnecessary. He can't move his arms or hands, what do you expect him to kill you with his feet, how silly. And if you tie his legs up all you'll be doing is killing him, if he isn't the culprit. Do you want to become killers?"

It seems that with Battler's direct family and the cousins dead, you're his only line of defense.

Erika is trying to look calm, but you can see the faintest hint of a smirk on her face. She is merely sitting in a chair.

Dr. Nanjo looks tired, and deeply stressed. He is having a conversation with Genji.

Rosa is looking out the window at the rain. She looks sad, and lost in her own thoughts.

Eva is keeping a close eye on Battler. She looks anxious.

Hideyoshi looks to be slightly upset while comforting his wife.

Battler is sitting on the couch, restrained by the ropes. He looks annoyed, and lost in his own thoughts as well.

"Before that," Eva says. "Shouldn't we retrieve the guns from Father's study? We have a key, now. I think everyone would feel safer."

"Well," says Erika. "Should we all go together, or just one or two go?"

"Simple, if you would have had the guns right now. You might have shoot Battler instead of tying him up."

"Genji-san, Gohda-san and Nanjo-sensei would you be so kind as to stay here and watch Battler while he go to Kinzo's study? He is unable to move his arms. So you have no reason to worry about him attacking you or anything."

"Certainly," Genji says.

"It's not like I think Battler-san is the culprit. I just want to make sure..." True, if someone like Natsuhi or Rosa were accused under the same circumstances as Battler, Eva may have attacked them already. But she held a soft spot for Battler.

"It doesn't matter," Rosa says. "We'll protect each other. Then, in the morning the police will come. They're amazing, so they'll solve everything."

The group except for Nanjo, Genji, Gohda, and Battler walk to the third floor, where Kinzo's study is.

You check to see if there is a seal on the door... there isn't. Apparently it was removed.

"Well, Furudo-san." Hideyoshi says. "You have the key."

Eva knocks on the door before you open it, but of course Kinzo does not respond.

You open the door...

Everything seems quite peaceful. The window is locked and shut, and there doesn't seem to be a disturbance. In the corner of the room, you can see Kinzo on his bed, under his covers.

I'll examine the room carefully. Before checking on Kinzo.

You don't find anything suspicious in the main study. You do find the gun box, but only one gun is left. The others appear to be missing. The door to the bathroom is closed.

You also find the second key to Kinzo's study on a shelf.

You check on Kinzo. He feels cold.

"Father, wake up. It's me, Eva!"

Kinzo doesn't stir at Eva's words. She decides to rip the covers off of him. You look at his body. Sticking into his stomach...it a large, ice pick-like object. There is also a slice on his neck. Lightly colored blood oozes out.

On the sixth twilight, gouge the belly and kill.

"Father!" Eva yells.

I'll check around in the bathroom. Do I find anything of interest?

The bathtub is filed with some sort of liquid. You also notice chemicals such as formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, ethanol, and. humectants.

You start walking down to the parlor.

Suddenly, you hear a pair of footsteps coming up from the stairs.

"What is that?" Says Rosa

I ask everyone to be quiet and I point the gun towards the sound and call out.

You see the figures reach the top of the staircase. When one sees your gun, he falls to the ground.

"Ahh, Furudo-sama, don't shoot!" It's Gohda.

You see Genji as well. He stops beside Gohda, but does not flinch.

I lower the gun.

"What are the two of you doing here?"

"Gohda-san, Genji-san," Eva says. "You were supposed to be helping Dr. Nanjo watch Battler. You're threatening their safety."

When Eva mentions their names, Gohda's eyes widen.

Gohda's voice shakes as he talks."I- I'm sorry, everyone. But something happened, something terrible. I don't know how to explain it. How do you explain something like that?"

I run by them heading to the parlor.

You start running, but Genji springs to life and runs after you and manages to restrain you.

"I apologize, Furudo-sama, but it's too dangerous to go down there right now. Right, Gohda-san?"

"Y-yes! It's too dangerous! I won't allow you to go down their either. In fact, we should all get out of the mansion as soon as--"

"Gohda-san, Genji san!" Eva says. "As a member of the Ushiromiya family, I command you to tell me what happened."

"I agree with Eva-san," Rosa says. "This doesn't seem like a trivial matter."

"Explain? H-how could I do something like that? Try to tell them, Genji-san!"

Still restraining you, Genji speaks: "It was--"

"Monsters!" Gohda suddenly interrupts. "It was...humans with the heads of goats! They flooded the room by the dozens. We fought, but they...Nanjo-sensei and Battler-kun..."

"Is this true, Genji-san?"

"...Yes." Genji's voice was still calm. "They were being leaded by Kanon-kun. They destroyed the entire parlor in the fight."

Gohda glances at Genji for a moment, but turns back to the group. "Uh, that's right. Everything is destroyed. We need to hide! They could still be down there!"

"EVERYONE hurry to Kinzo's study. I'll go to the parlor, we might still be able to save them. And since I have a weapon I'll be alright."

"Hold on," Eva says. "These two are clearly lying! Goat monsters? Who would believe something like that! If Battler and Nanjo are dead down there, then it's clear that these two are the culprits!"

"Eva-sama, please!" Says Gohda.


"Silly Eva," Says Erika. "Of course monsters don't exist. They could have been men in masks who got here before the storm arrived. What's important is that they saw Kanon. We never found him, so the chance of him being the culprit is likely."

Erika didn't necessarily believe what she was saying, but she knew it was necessary for her to properly detect. "I agree with my sister. The best place for you all right now is Kinzo-sama's study."

"Urg, that's fine," Eva says. "But thee's no way I'm letting you two--"

Time stops. You can tell it's due to some interferance by Bernkastel.

Time resumes. "That's fine. But be careful. Run away if anything dangerous happens."

The survivors except for you and Erika enter the study.

While Erika isn't looking I'll knock her out with a smash from my hammer!

With the newly unconscious Erika at your feel, your possibilities in the mansion are endless.

You go to the parlor. Battler and Nanjo are there, dead. Their heads are both split half-open. In addition, Battler has a stake in his knee. Dr. Nanjo has one in his leg.

"Congratulations, Amy. You managed to let the epitaph killer commit the murders by 3:00 P.M. That's not as impressive as Battler in the fourth game, but it's still commendable." Bernkastel laughs.

It takes you a while, not knowing where anything in the kitchen is, but you find what you're looking for.

I go back to Erika and write all over her face with the marker, before waking her up Clannad style by squirting the juice up her nose.

Meanwhile:

Eva, Hideyoshi, Rosa, Gohda, and Genji were locked in Kinzo's study. It truly was the safest place in the mansion. The door automatically locked, and being on the third story helped.

"I hope those kids are okay. Why did I let them go on their own like that?" Said Eva.

"Eva-san, it's all right," Rosa put her hand on Eva's shoulder.

Eva shook it off. "How can you say that when your own daughter is dead?! Our children were supposed to be our futures, and now they're all gone. Every single one of them."

"Eva..." Hideyoshi remained next to his wife, as a good husband should.

"That isn't true, Eva-san." Rosa said. "What about Ange-chan, Rudolf and Kyrie-san's child? She'll be in need of a proper home after this, and it's our duty as the last Ushiromiya family to provide her with that."

Eva wiped the tears from her eyes. "Are you really okay with that, Rosa?"

"Of course not. I plan to spend the rest of my life atoning for the sins I have committed in my life. In honor of the memory of Maria. Even though, I'm not sure it'll be enough. I'll be relying on you, okay?" Rosa forced a smile.

For the first time in years, the sisters embraced each other, sobbing.

Meanwhile, Gohda and Genji stood at the sidelines. Gohda didn't particularly care about the sentimental affairs. He just didn't want do die! He looked over at Genji, whoo seemed to be grimacing, a far change from his usual look.

"Is something wrong, Genji-san?"

Genji placed his hand on his head, as if he had a head ache. "I appear to have sustained some damage from the battle earlier. Do not think anything of it."

Before Gohda could object, there was a bright flash in the room. The number of people in the room...had increased by one.

In the middle of the room, a middle aged man that looked like a butler appeared. However, he didn't look like any of the servants Gohda knew on the island.

"Pukuku, this is the first time I get to formally meet most of you, isn't it? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ronov--"

The mysterious guest hadn't even said his name by the time Eva suddenly sprang forth and tried to slam her fist into his gut. The guest was too fast, however, and avoided her attack.

"I am terribly sorry about this. It's quite uncivilized. But, when the witch revives, none shall be left alive." Ronove snapped his fingers, and Eva was left gripping her neck, where a large amount of blood had appeared.

Her neck had been cut open. Almost instantly, she fell to the ground.

"Eva!" Hideyoshi finally did something of importance for the first time in this story and used his body to slam against the intruder. He managed to hit him, but it was like running into a brick wall.

"W-what's going on?" Said Gohda. Normally he would help, but he was too scared, and backed himself to a wall.

Rosa tried to run forward to help Hideyoshi, but something grabbed her from behind.

"Nyehehe, no interfering." Said a girl with bunny ears. Where were all of these people coming from.

"There," said the guest. "Now with your friend restrained, we can handle this maturely." Ronove gently placed his finger on Hideyoshi's neck. A few seconds later, he was dead.

He then did the same thing to Rosa, who was being restrained.

"I- I don't want to die!" Gohda said, and ran towards the door. Ronove snapped his fingers, and suffered the same wound on his neck that Eva had.

"Greeting, Genji-san. I don't suppose I'll have to go through all of that unpleasantness with you."

"...No. I accept that my time has come."

"Very good. Well then, let's begin."



"Whowhatwhenwherewhy?" Erika awoke with a start. "What's going on? Hey, is my nose bleeding?"

You reach the door of the study. You call out, but there is no answer.

You open the door. Opening it, it bumps against Gohda's head, who is dead on the floor from blood loss. Further away in Genji's corpse. There is a large bruise on on his head.

There isn't any blood on Rosa or Hideyoshi, but there are hand marks on their necks. Eva's throat is cut as well.

Everyone in the room except for you and Erika are dead.

I'll examine everything around the room and carefully examine the corpses.

You check the room. Gohda's throat is cut.

Upon close inspection, you find some blood splatters on the window sill. The window is locked from the inside.

"If everyone's dead, then who's the culprit? Someone has to be faking their deaths, right?"

"M-my master would never go for some trick like that! There's a solution here, somewhere. It's only three, though, and we have nobody to interrogate. What not?"

"Sixth twilight! Battler burnt Kinzo's body earlier using a key, destroying Eva's seal. He used a key that he stole, and slipped it back to Genji!

Then he faked his death, explaining how he carried out all of the other murders! Check mate!

Erika opens her mouth to speak, but before she can say anything, a brilliant flash of light appears.

Time freezes. Erika is locked in place.

"Amy-san, I invite you to one further battle. You have investigated all you could, have held clues. My body represents the form of the dying Rokkenjima. I desire one last fight. Me verses you and whoever you'd like to join. The rules are this: we fight, red verses blue. Consider them as additional hints for this game. Are you ready?"
