No. 11748
The clock on the wall created an unsettling atmosphere. Everyone's face held a hint of defeat and tenseness. Jessica huddled up in the corner hugging her knees. Her face was red from crying. No longer could she produce anymore tears, she just stared at nothing with an empty gaze.
Within a matter of hours she had lost everyone somewhat important to her. Her parents are been murdered and found discarded in the garden shed. And then just an hour ago she had discovered Kumasawa's and Kanon's corpses with Genji. Everything felt meaningless now.
She looked over at the others in the room, Hideyoshi was trying to calm Ange down. Jessica felt a tinge of pain looking at the crying child. She should be trying to cheer up Ange as well, but she just couldn't. Ange was just like her, she had lost her parents and her brother.
“Kihihihihi it doesn't matter we will see them again. Beatrice will take us all to the golden land.”
And then there was Maria who despite losing her mother seemed completely unaffected, it infuriated her. She had heard Maria talk like this all morning, but now something in her snapped.
“Maria witches don't exist! Everyone is dead. We will never see them again!”
And Jessica slapped Maria as she spoke those words.
“Jessica calm down.” George said as he tried to hold her.
“Let go of me! You don't understand! You didn't lose anything! You can't understand how I'm feeling!” Jessica shouted as she broke away from George and pointed at Shannon and then Eva and Hideyoshi.
“Jessica...”
“Stop! Get away from me! Stay away from me!” Jessica shouted pushing George away.
It was just a helpless accident she hadn't even meant to push George that hard, it was just simply bad luck or fate perhaps. George tripped and head his head on the edge of the table. Blood started to flow out of his head.
““George!”” Eva and Shannon both screamed rushing to him.
“I-I-I” Jessica was at a loss for words.
“Jessica! How could you!?” Eva screamed while pointing her gun at her. “Get out now!”She roared with the force of a lion.
Jessica suddenly felt rage. “With pleasure!” She screamed back snatching up the key to the sun-room.
Jessica entered the sun-room locking the door behind her. She wanted to be alone right now. Sitting down in one of the chairs she stared out at the rain through the glass panels. It was nice, not but exactly quite or warm, the panels of the room didn't really keep out of the cold and as such Jessica began to shiver. But she was stubborn she wouldn't go back inside for a blanket.
“I should apologize...” Jessica muttered to herself. But Jessica knew herself well, she worried that she would explode like before and loss control of her emotions. She headed over to the small desk in the sun room and unlocked the drawer by using its tiny key. She opened it and reached inside the drawer for a pen and some paper. She sat back down and began to try to write out her apology she would make.

Everyone in the lobby breathed a sigh of relief when Nanjo came out and said that George's life wasn't in danger. The tense hour or so had been rough for Shannon.
“We should tell Jessica.” She said to herself as she headed down the hallways to the sun-room. She stopped cold when she saw the circle on the sun-room's door. “No.” She cried out snatching her keys out of her pocket and quickly opening the door.
On the table she noticed an empty glass. And then as she got closer she let out a scream. Jessica was laying on a fainting couch with a knife in her chest. “Jessica-sama! Nanjo-sensei come quick!”
Everyone hurried over and they all expressed shock at the scene. Nanjo shook his head after checking Jessica's pulse. “Hmm, there is something in her pocket.” He said as he reached inside. He pulled out a tiny key.
“That is the key to the desk in this room.” Shannon said.
Eva snatched up the key and went over to the desk. She tried the drawer, sure enough it was locked. She used the tiny key to unlock it, and inside she found the key to the sun-room.
“Another closed room like the others.” Shannon muttered.
