Battler, Jessica and Maria stood in shock at the scene displayed before them. The sight of George’s corpse sprawled on top of the crimson bed sheets was permanently burned into their memories at that moment. After each of them had calmed down (as much as possible) Battler began to investigate the room and noticed something odd.

Alongside the corpse there were two keys. Jessica informed Battler that one belonged to this room, and then other was Kumasawa’s master key. Upon further investigation Battler also brought to light the fact each window had been locked from the inside, and that they were forced to unlock the deadbolt and also cut the chain in order to enter the room.

Jessica who couldn’t quite understand asked Battler to explain. He continued, reminding her by pulling them out of his pocket that he held three of the master keys; the others in the possession of Genji and Shannon. Following this revelation the group lock the door and left to go find Genji.

From what Battler remembered Genji was reading in the Parlor, and sure enough that is where they found him. Upon interrogating Genji he provided his own Master key, and stated he had not once left this room. The others in the room (Rosa and Hideyoshi) testified to this. Upon explaining what exactly had happened Hideyoshi joined the group as they decided the best course of action was to find Shannon and the remaining master key.

Rosa had recalled that Shannon had mentioned going back to her room so that is where our group went to first. However, upon arrival they discovered disturbing red markings on the door. Shortly after an even creepier explanation from Maria, the group attempted to enter the room, not only to find it locked via deadbolt but also with the chain set; exactly like George’s room.

They all knew what this meant and made quick work of the chain. Their predictions had been correct; for inside the room Shannon was found dead in a very similar state as George. After investigating Battler found each window was locked from the inside and two keys had also been found; those being Shannon’s master key and the key to the room.

The clock on the wall created an unsettling atmosphere. Everyone's face held a hint of defeat and tenseness. Jessica huddled up in the corner hugging her knees. Her face was red from crying. No longer could she produce anymore tears, she just stared at nothing with an empty gaze.

Within a matter of hours she had lost everyone somewhat important to her. Her parents are been murdered and found discarded in the garden shed. And then just an hour ago she had discovered Kumasawa's and Kanon's corpses with Genji. Everything felt meaningless now.

She looked over at the others in the room, Hideyoshi was trying to calm Ange down. Jessica felt a tinge of pain looking at the crying child. She should be trying to cheer up Ange as well, but she just couldn't. Ange was just like her, she had lost her parents and her brother.

“Kihihihihi it doesn't matter we will see them again. Beatrice will take us all to the golden land.”

And then there was Maria who despite losing her mother seemed completely unaffected, it infuriated her. She had heard Maria talk like this all morning, but now something in her snapped.

“Maria witches don't exist! Everyone is dead. We will never see them again!”

And Jessica slapped Maria as she spoke those words.

“Jessica calm down.” George said as he tried to hold her.

“Let go of me! You don't understand! You didn't lose anything! You can't understand how I'm feeling!” Jessica shouted as she broke away from George and pointed at Shannon and then Eva and Hideyoshi.

“Jessica...”

“Stop! Get away from me! Stay away from me!” Jessica shouted pushing George away.

It was just a helpless accident she hadn't even meant to push George that hard, it was just simply bad luck or fate perhaps. George tripped and head his head on the edge of the table. Blood started to flow out of his head.

““George!”” Eva and Shannon both screamed rushing to him.

“I-I-I” Jessica was at a loss for words.

“Jessica! How could you!?” Eva screamed while pointing her gun at her. “Get out now!”She roared with the force of a lion.

Jessica suddenly felt rage. “With pleasure!” She screamed back snatching up the key to the sun-room.

Jessica entered the sun-room locking the door behind her. She wanted to be alone right now. Sitting down in one of the chairs she stared out at the rain through the glass panels. It was nice, not but exactly quite or warm, the panels of the room didn't really keep out of the cold and as such Jessica began to shiver. But she was stubborn she wouldn't go back inside for a blanket.

“I should apologize...” Jessica muttered to herself. But Jessica knew herself well, she worried that she would explode like before and loss control of her emotions. She headed over to the small desk in the sun room and unlocked the drawer by using its tiny key. She opened it and reached inside the drawer for a pen and some paper. She sat back down and began to try to write out her apology she would make.

Everyone in the lobby breathed a sigh of relief when Nanjo came out and said that George's life wasn't in danger. The tense hour or so had been rough for Shannon.

“We should tell Jessica.” She said to herself as she headed down the hallways to the sun-room. She stopped cold when she saw the circle on the sun-room's door. “No.” She cried out snatching her keys out of her pocket and quickly opening the door.

On the table she noticed an empty glass. And then as she got closer she let out a scream. Jessica was laying on a fainting couch with a knife in her chest. “Jessica-sama! Nanjo-sensei come quick!”

Everyone hurried over and they all expressed shock at the scene. Nanjo shook his head after checking Jessica's pulse. “Hmm, there is something in her pocket.” He said as he reached inside. He pulled out a tiny key.

“That is the key to the desk in this room.” Shannon said.

Eva snatched up the key and went over to the desk. She tried the drawer, sure enough it was locked. She used the tiny key to unlock it, and inside she found the key to the sun-room.

“Another closed room like the others.” Shannon muttered.

The knife wound is what caused Jessica to die.

One of the master keys in Battler's possession was used to lock the doors of both rooms.

The master keys Battler had were not used to lock the doors.
Of course this excludes after leaving George's room. I'm such a nice guy for not just saying "Yes he did"

Both keys were not actually inside the room upon entering the room. ie Nanjo pretended to find one in her the pocket.

When Jessica's corpse was discovered by Shannon both keys were inside the room already.

One of the master keys Battler found is a fake.

None of the keys in this story are fake.

When a lock is set it isn't impossible to pass a key into the area which it locks.

What you won't deny it?
String through the pocket trick. You know the one.

Oh I know it. No string through the pocket trick was used.

George and Shannon's corpse state was never said, only that the sheets were red. One of them or both of them died due to a trap.

Not trap was used to kill George or Shannon.

One of the areas was broken or can change in such a way to allow entrance for a key or other item.
Like being able to remove the door or a similar thing. Could have been fixed afterwards too.

I won't deny it, but guess game is a little harsh. But if I don't post a red it will probably consider this the end. So, The culprit never set foot in the sunroom until after Jessica's corpse was found.

One of them had a delayed death. They didn't die instantly so they had time to lock the door/chain/window.

Neither George or Shannon locked the rooms.

I see. Well with the knife red and that last red then I imagine The knife was stabbed into Jessica through that opening.

Jessica received a drink of Hideyoshi, which she didn't know had sleeping stuff mixed in. After drinking it, she feel asleep.

Key to the room is on the table as is the key to the drawer.

Eva climbed up onto the roof and opened a hatch that was on top. She aimed right over Jessica and dropped a knife. The force from the gravity caused it to stab into Jessica.

She then lowered a magnet down on string to grab the key to the room, she them moved it over the drawer and pried it off used the edges on end front of the drawer. She then moved her needlessly complex string device to over to the key to the drawer and snatched it up the same way. She moved it over to the drawer and inserted it. By maneuvering it just right she got the key to lock (I forget the exact method you can use, but it is possible at least under certain circumstances, I got it to work..) Tug a little to pull it out. (Once again foggy memory on exactly how, since I did this so long ago..) Swing back over to Jessica lower into pocket shake vigorously repeatedly until magnet or key gets loose.
