Sorry for the rocky start, hopefully I changed everything okay. I think I went a little out of hand on the length though, I tried to keep it to a minimum.

INTRODUCTION:

Start of game, Erika's Location: http://imgur.com/T1vN0rf

Erika stood staring at her reflection in the oblique window on the second story of the Guest House, the rain pattering and distorting her reflection as the typhoon of October 5th, 1986 lit the rose garden, each crackle revealing the silver outline of all the corpses accumulated so far in view on the wet cement. She checked this variable off at this vantage point--none of the corpses moved. The only thing moving was Battler returning from the shed. She sighed while petting the duct tape placed on the windowsill, "To think I passed on the grilled fugu roe, I would have ended up like them. *cackle* *cackle* It's too bad this game is so quick."

The choir of screams suddenly pierced the otherwise peaceful mood of three distinct booms waking everyone up and rushing towards the stairs only a minute before; her heels turned 180 degrees on a dime, now facing the depths of the dark hallway with the only thing greeting her--a small grandfather clock smiling upon her, the face pointing at 1:55 A.M.. It was her time. She hummed a little obnoxious song as her face twisted in delight, almost conducting a symphony as she rushed along to her duty, checking with great excitement to the signed seals torn in half on the sides of the door in her peripheral vision. "Detective's authority, Is truly the best~*"

Just as she was about to pass downstairs, the corner of her eye registered a dark silhouette in the corner windowsill just to the edge of the window behind it. It was Genji, solemnly reading a book sitting in a small chair in the hallway. Erika was startled, and paused her steps. Just how long was he sitting here? She assumed he would be in his room, but dismissed it as her memory said he was on night duty. In a half a second, her little gray cells fired.

"Genji, Keeeyys pleasee, Show them to me!"

Genji dangled the master key almost as if it was against his will. It came out of the shadow and its metallic glow lit her eyes up.

"<Very Good>!!"

Erika then proceeded to head downstairs, Genji got up and followed suit. She observed that the doors where people have slept were broken, as well as the entrance to the Guest House. They both met up to the crowd around middle first floor room--Kanon's single room for the night. The only survivors were in shock; they all agreed to lock their door for the night so something like this wouldn't happen. Battler, George, Jessica, Maria, and Kumasawa were already arguing inside the room. The two from upstairs didn't turn any heads and couldn't see the commotion. Erika raised her voice, and parted the waters in front of her. She curtsied onto the stage, looked at the clock inside the room as it turned 1:56 A.M., and began her examination.

THE ROOM:

The door was pushed in the room, the lock inside the door and the chain lock were both broken in half, the other half of the lock still inside and on the frame. From the inside, the door was painted with an eerie occult symbol in what looked like blood, dripping down to the carpet below it. Erika checked the side of the entrance door; her seal was torn in half. She then turned to the window, locked and her seal was not torn. Although, the closet door was wide open and empty as the hanged clothes were spread across the bed in a chaotic manner. The bathroom door was locked from the other side as Erika jiggled the handle, thus creating a locked room and the final coffin for Kanon.

THE BODY:

The rain subsided slightly, and the moonlight cast a hard spotlight on Kanon's body. The body was on the floor face up, his feet pointing to the window with arms out, almost as if he fell back after being crucified. Erika concluded the body was obviously dead, three bullet holes lodged in Kanon's face, neck, and chest respectively, creating an almost indiscernible bloody mess. His clothes and hair were of the few indicators of his appearance. A smoking shotgun was in his right palm, the rounds empty. An unopened, wax-sealed letter was in his left palm. Without haste, she tore it open; shreds of paper flew to the ground. A single key was inside, the key to the room!

CLOSING INTERVIEW:

Erika laughed, she decided to ask the group questions for the fun of it, and Battler was one of the few to speak since everyone else was still in shock. According to story, upon waking up on the second floor from three loud gunshot sounds coming from the first floor, he looked at his alarm clock at 1:49 A.M., and ran out of his room, recalling a tearing sound as he left. The group met up on the first floor about a minute later. He saw George in a state of panic, Jessica holding onto Maria in fear, and Kumasawa almost in a daze. Battler said that he saw Erika running toward the end window before he arrived, mumbling something about, "hopefully... the dead.... stay dead." At the group, Battler quickly asked George and Jessica, “W-where’s Shannon and Kanon?!” Jessica said they decided to sleep in separate rooms just one apart, and George says when he woke up, Shannon was nowhere to be found in her bed and the window and door were both locked and sealed! They then all looked at Kanon’s room, the only one not open on the first floor, and knew something was wrong. Battler and George rammed the door open, but the chain lock was set. Battler went to the shed, once again hearing tearing sound as he left the Guest House, to grab get cutters to open the chain lock. Arriving with the cutters, he snipped, and they all entered the room and let out a yell, Jessica screaming the loudest as she dropped to her feet.

A long, detailed and even with two maps introduction, huh? Well mine surely will look lacking now.

October 5th, 2013. It’s past 2:00 AM, and I hate my job. I’ve been getting endless calls since 1:00 AM, but I managed to stall for an hour by driving as slowly as possible. Once I walked into the building, my superiors started grilling me about my delay. Bah, to hell with them. Just let me see the corpse.

It looked like any other hotel room, except it had a normal doorknob instead of an electronic one. Inside, I saw nothing out of the ordinary: A Mexican man lying face down on the floor over a large pool of blood. A decent-sized knife, covered in blood, lay nearby.

The victim was first found by a staff member, as the Mexican had ordered a taco banquet designated to arrive in his room at 12:00. The victim had a stab wound on his chest, and the knife found nearby fit the wound’s shape. The cause of death was assumed to be blood loss. Something’s fishy about the blood, but I’m too damn tired to put my finger on it now.

The staff member claimed the only door in the room was closed and locked, and he had to use his key to open it. After cutting the chain lock, they found the corpse and the second key to the room inside one of the victim’s pockets. The only window was locked, but since the room is on the second floor, leaving through the window might be a little stupid.

The victim was staying in the hotel with some friends, but all of them are missing. One witness claims to have heard the victim arguing with someone else. He says the second person spoke Italian. Another claims it was French, but when pressed, none of the witnesses spoke Italian nor French.

Welp, let's see.

The victim was never dead. The blood is just taco sauce and he locked the door and window behind him, and his hole in the chest was caused by Pectus excavatum.

The culprit stabbed the victim, and is hiding somewhere in the room.

George never entered Kanon's room.

“October 4th,1986, sometime in the afternoon when the family arrives, a “mysterious” guest makes an appearance to the family conference named Erika. A standard game in my eyes so far. Shannon/Kanon, who I’ll call Shkanon at times, decides to poison the dinner. To make things short and simple for sake of convenience, Erika manages to catch them in the act. She now has power over Yasu, threatening to reveal their charade to everyone, and detain them until authorities arrive. But the ever-gracious Erika decides to make an ultimatum for her own pleasure, Yasu is to take part in their death that night for a little mystery game and allow the mystery of Rokkenjima to live on forever---or suffer the aforementioned consequences.
Sometime later in the evening with the sunset almost over, the family decides to look at the rose garden one last time before the late typhoon comes in. While this is happening, Erika is placing normal, signed, duct tape seals inside of the guest house on all the windows (Push windows, not sliding) at approximately the same time, except she cheats a little. The seal placed on the window inside of Kanon’s designated room (She placed this from the outside as she never entered the room) and the window at the end of the hall on the second story (where she is at the start of the game) are placed only halfway on the inside window frame, thus when is pushed forward, then tugged back ever so slightly through a gap in the windowsill, the seals then are effectively in place. Once moved again once both sides of the sticky side touch the frames, are torn. Erika also places a role of duct tape, a long rope from the shed, and a long piece of string inside Kanon’s room on the shelf. She then proceeds to lock all the windows except the ones with only half seals, and walks back outside and sees everyone in a state of panic as the adults before them are foaming on the ground.
Erika manages to calm down the survivors, Battler, Shannon, George, Jessica, Maria, Genji, and Kumasawa, and persuades the group it would be best to sleep in the Guest House as it would be beneficial to stick together with rooms only across two hallways. At twilight, everyone huddles in the kitchen of the guest house (with a spare bed of course, which Kumasawa volunteered to sleep on.) During this time, Kanon and Shannon swap roles constantly as they are off to do something important, but as stated earlier, Erika knows the whole story as they dash to the closet, with clothes scattered everywhere in the room.
…Erika in the meantime even disarmed some bomb solving some little puzzle, hid all the guns somewhere in the shed, spoke to Shkanon in great lengths about the plan when they were alone, and knew the existence of Kinzo’s death status is something that doesn’t have to be given second thought. Shkanon was forced to play along on Erika’s terms for better or worse. Night approached, and fate was sealed.
Battler went to bed early in his room as we was exhausted from the shock, and didn’t give second thought if Genji was in the other bed, which he proceeded to lock the door behind him. Genji was on self-instated nightshift anyway, and snoozed off inside his chair on the second floor. Maria also went to bed right away in her and Jessica’s room.
It was approaching midnight, and the rest of the group, Erika, George, Jessica, Kumasawa, and Shannon decided it would be best to sleep soon. At this moment, “Kanon” said he was getting supplies from the Mansion for breakfast in the morning, while Shannon was sitting with the rest of the group in the kitchen. Shannon got up, and said she had to go to the bathroom. She walked through Kanon’s room, and turned the light and fan on inside once inside the bathroom.
The doors for the connected bathroom have a semi-special lock, (but not really, my house even has one.) which can be turned to the lock position while the door is open, and once close is effectively locked. Keeping that in mind, Shannon opens the entrance to George’s room, and locks and closes it while she’s in the bathroom as the lock is on the other side. Shannon proceeds to go into her closet and dresses into Kanon. As one last fleeting scratch on Erika’s power, Kanon draws an occult symbol on his door with some paint on his shelf, dripping red on the carpet next to the door. He exits the room and returns to the kitchen with a defeated face, as he said the kitchen in the mansion was empty to prepare for the fugu fish dinner they had earlier.
The waking group decides to head to bed. As the rest of the group leaves, Kumasawa locks the door for the bedroom/kitchen behind her and goes to sleep. Kanon walks Jessica to her room and exchange a parting good night. Jessica locks the door as Kanon exits, and then she sleeps next to Maria in the night. Erika heads upstairs to her room to briefly rest her eyes, and George heads to his room, and also falls asleep earlier (exhausted from shock) as he assumes Shannon is still in the lit bathroom. Kanon enters his room, proceeding to lock the door and sets the chainlock behind him… all according to Erika’s plan. Kanon transforms into Shannon again. She notices the semi open window, the seal still flapping in the wind below it. She takes the duct tape and rope inside the room on the shelf and follows her orders that Erika gave her early that previous day.
Shannon proceeded to place the long rope halfway on top of the rug on the floor (See the second map) next to the door in Kanon’s room, and put over ten segments of strong duct tape over the rope on the rug to assure durability. She tossed the rest of the rope and duct tape roll out the semi-opened window.
Something like this if you can visualize it top down: door-> ll [ --]-------------ll-- outside
Erika’s eyes flew open in her bed, almost making a shattering sound. She assumes everyone is sleeping with the doors locked behind them. (Her door is special, all the locks are on the outside from some construction error during the building of the Guest House, and so she escapes with a locked door this way from her room.) It’s around 1AM, she places seals on the side of everyone’s door including her own about the same time, all within a minute. Shannon is inside of Kanon’s room at this time, thus not in George’s room at the time the seals are placed.
Shannon knows it’s time as she heard Erika leave, and ties the string also on the shelf onto the latch lock of the opened window. Still holding onto the string, she enters the bathroom and locks the door behind her--the string still under the crack of the door. Shannon turns off the light and fan inside the room, and then enters George’s room with the string still in hand and under the crack, proceeding to lock the door behind her. (See map of lock placement).
This wakes George up, and Shannon tells him everything. He’s shocked, and can’t go through with the plan. They fight as Shannon prepares the final mystery, placing the key inside a sealed letter. It’s now around 1:30 A.M., the clock inside the upstairs hall chimes the short time, waking Genji up.
TL;DR: IMPORTANT PART OF SOLUTION:
Erika was ready for reaping. She goes outside into the now raging typhoon from the upstairs hallway with the semi open window (exactly like Kanon’s room setup), and climbs down the ledges to the ground. She grabs a single shotgun from the shed, and walks towards George’s and Shannon’s room. She threatens with violence for George and Shannon to follow the plan perfectly from the window; they comply in accordance to her demands.
Shannon and George part one last time, George unlocks the door to the bathroom and Shannon enters, and then closes it behind her in the locked position as she disappears forever, the string still inside George’s hand until the time comes.
Shannon enters Kanon’s room, and then changes into Kanon one last time. He grabs one of the wire hangers inside the closet, and slides it under the locked door, (as the seals were placed on the side of the door.) He proceeds to lay down, his head resting on the door facing the open window, the storm calling him into the skies. His body is directly on top of the carpet. During this time, Erika was fetching a ladder from the shed, and climbed back up to the second floor of the Guest House. Walking down stairs, she notices the placed hanger in the hallway as she instructed. She unravels it into a “U” shape,” and twists it under the door until she grips both sides of the “U” with Kanon’s neck in the middle.
She pulls until Kanon dies from asphyxiation.
(Something like this, imagine a profile of the body: door-> llO/_____ _ _ _ _ _/l\\ outside
Erika whispers under the door with a grin while pulling, “Wire hangers, why? Why?...You live in the most beautiful house on an island and you don't care if your clothes and costumes are stretched out from wire hangers. Hahahahahaha!!”
She begins phase 2 of her plan, and takes the bent wire hanger with her, gun still in the other hand. Erika walks back up the stairs, and then back down the ladder towards the opened window. Pulling the rope still outside placed earlier with all her might, Kanon’s body is dragged towards the window as his body lays upon the moving rug. His feet meet the wall, and the rug and rope slides under him out of the window. She puts the moving carpet aside outside in a dry area. Erika takes a step back, and fires one shot into Kanon, the bullets spraying into his body; in his chest, face, and neck. The blood covered his laceration marks, and the figure was emaciated as Erika preferred. She tossed the gun inside the room landing in his right hand, still smoking, almost like a suicide. Two thunder strikes, almost a miracle, hit the mansion and trees somewhere in the distance, causing extremely loud booms waking everyone up anyway. She also tied the hanger back into shape on the way over, and tossed it on the bed with the rest of the clothes blending in.
Erika pushed the window in slightly, making sure that her hands don’t pass the impenetrable barrier between the windowsill and outside. The air pressure brought the window back, effectively closing and sealing it as the other half of the tape grabbed on to the wall below it. She made her way over to the other room to the right, giving George the death glare through his window to pull the string. He pulled, and the latch lock moved into place, creating the locked room. He pulled a second time to make sure the string broke off of the window’s lock and hid it inside of his room, and then slid the letter with the key with all his might into left hand of Kanon’s shot corpse. She then pulled the tape off the rug oustide and tossed it aside.
Making her way up the ladder with the and into the second floor’s end window, she kicks the ladder out into the bushes below, concealing this mode of transportation with the rug in hand. As she enters, she runs downstairs and slips the rug under Kanon’s door.
She forgot to close the window upstairs! She ran back up, and saw Battler opening his door tearing his seal, continuing to walk down the upstairs hallway. Erika made sure to look busy and mutter something relevant, “The dead… stay dead…” or something to give her purpose to be by the window staring at the corpses outside. She locks the window and “pets the tape down”. Thus begins the description of the introduction as everyone runs out breaking their door seals, and Battler breaks the front door seal when he runs to get a cutter for the chain lock.

Although, I was going to say at one point Knox’s 7th applies. “The detective cannot be the culprit.” (But I threw all that away since I realized this is mainly a “How-dunnit.” game)
That’s because Genji was sitting in his chair pretending to read some Agatha Christie in the dark as the real Detective, unmoved with his master key in hand--shocked that Erika was running wet with a carpet and gun about four times, and he was unable to enter the room to completely examine the room by the end of the introduction.
Epilogue:
Erika was arrested thereafter thanks to special agent Genji, and Erika continues to become a controversial star for vigilante justice throughout Japan… as she killed someone who also poisoned a family…. Or something….”
All the actors take a bow, and

THE CURTAIN CLOSES

Are you a writer or something? That was pretty well made for a first attempt doing something like this.
Hopefully other lurkers might also join the community following your example.
