As you are looking at the movies you notice the person come back from the stairs. It is Kizami who gives you a smile.

"Ah, Mr Sugimoto. How goes the exploration? There's a library down in the basement and two locked rooms. I have a feeling they may lead somewhere interesting, but alas..."

"Two locked rooms huh?" Nao motions to the movie listings with his thumb. "I was thinking about catching a movie to get into the theater. At 5MC per ticket what you do think. Worth it?"

"Actually, if you are ready to spend 5 monocoins, I have an alternate offer for you."

Kizami produces a key from his pocket and shows it to Nao.

"What do you think? I have a feeling it may be useful to you somewhere down in the basement."

Nao looks at the key for a moment before speaking. "Sure, I feel like this could come in handy."

Nao offers him 5MC making sure to wait for him to hand over the key.

Nao says goodbye and goes downstairs. He will wait to see if Kizami follows him. If not then he will go try the key on the door.

Kizami doesn't come down, so you head to the library and use the key on the door. It works! Inside is the dusty paper filled area that you expected.

Suddenly an announcements clicks on.

"Alright. It is now Nighttime. I hope you all remember the rules. There will be a wake up call in the morning so you don't miss breakfast. Sleep tight..."

It then clicks off.

I head back to my room to sleep.

Soon you are drifting off to dreamland.

Nao will just stay in his room for now. Unless I have time.

You return to your room. As you walk out you notice Kai standing guard in front of the meditation room, and Andy walking off behind the sunshine building.

You make it back to the room without trouble.

Suddenly an announcements clicks on.

"Alright. It is now Nighttime. Sleep tight..."

It then clicks off.

Nao starts to get a bit restless. That guard was keeping an eye on the meditation room. I wonder if massaging is the only thing that happened.

He will go there and check out the room. He can't sleep until midnight so if no one is there he will lock the door and bath in the hot tubs or sun bathe.

You see Seiko making some coffee in the coffee shop and pass into the meditation room.

Everything looks fine so you lock the door behind you and start to soak in the tube after taking off your clothing.

You start to get rather tired around midnight and start to head back to your room. As you are heading to the Guest Room Building you notice Kai out patrolling.

"Yo. A night owl like myself huh? Well you are the "bodyguard" so it makes sense. I'm going to stay over here, no offense or anything. Have a good night."

Nao will head to his room regardless of what she says.

"So it finally happened. Shit." Nao will take a look at the little nude guy to see if he finds anything not in the file.

The body is lying face up with his legs slightly sprawled out as if he fell over backwards. Around the head area the grass is dyed with blood as it seems to have poured out the back of the head. Closer inspection of the head shows that he has a decent sized indent at the very top of his head that has broken the skin and skull inwards. There doesn’t seem to be any other important injuries on the body.

You notice a woven string like rope made from plant material. It seems it has something to do with the gazebo and is loosely wrapped around his hand. You find nothing on his person, since after all, he is naked.

Nao takes a better look at the Gazebo.
If anyone asks about his alibi he will say, "My alibi? Lack of one is more accurate. I couldn't sleep so I went to the meditation room last night and locked the door. I went back to my room after midnight and saw Kai before entering my room."

You take a look at the so called gazebo that Hadaka said he was working on. Although it ultimately was left unfinished it is rather well made. It is missing the roof portion which you see next to the structure. It is unfinished and made out of more leaf like branches overlapping one another to reflect rain.

For the main part of the gazebo there are four logs embedded into the ground that have been stripped so they are more smooth. There is a square base for the roof to rest on at the top attached with woven rope to each log (the square on the map). High up near the top of each log are some notches that you assume would be used to tie the roof and logs together and nail the rope into the ground like a tent cover. There are three other woven ropes here as well that match the one near the body.

Besides the gazebo there is a number of extra logs stacked a little while away from it.

There are few handmade tools like sharpened wooden spears apparently used for fishing since you see a single fish with a hole in it right next to it. There are some baskets beside that that which have been woven similar to the ropes that are filled with blackberries. Near the body is also a partially eaten sandwich. Looks like a nice BLT.

Next up is the stream. Nao will look in the water and on the land behind it searching for any other clues

As you walk by the stream you see some nice little fishes.

You also happen to notice what looks like some sort of tool. On closer inspection it appears to be a stone axe. It looks rather well made with some woven string wrapping the stone which has been fitted into a hole made in the wooden handle.

There you find a small tablet that when picking up starts to play a movie.

"The Ultimate Swindler Sugimoto Nao! You have lied and cheated your way to the top. That much is obvious to anyone you have screwed over, but it seems there is a deeper reason for this thirsty obsession over money and fortune."

The screen transitions and now shows a hospital room. There on the bed is a small girl... your sister Aki.

"You may have discarded your own life but it seems you still care deeply for someone. Deep enough to throw yourself into hell itself. After everything you went through to prolong your sister's life... It would be a shame if something were to happen to them..."

The video cuts off. The tablet no longer seems to function.

After some time he collects himself. He walks back to area 2 and goes behind the onsen. "Hey, the rules say we can not peek over or through. Are there any rules about entering the other gender bathroom or putting something through the fence without looking?"

Monozaki pops out, "Nope! You can enter the girl side if you really want to but that would be risky. The fence does not have any holes in it, but you might be able to put something under the fence since it is dirt."

Nao looks at the generator in the storage. How does it work? Would it be possible to shock someone with it?

The generator is gas powered. Despite that it says it is a silent version. There are some output cables that you could easily use to shock someone if you can get it to turn on.

"Finally a customer! I would give you something for buying something first but I already gave away my only prize. Anyway, would you like your receipt?"

I take the receipt. If I didn't someone would find it right?
If nothing else happens I will take the gas to the generator and test it. If everything is in order I will feed the cables under the fence of the onsen.

You test the generator and find it to work! You are confident you could kill someone with this. You find the generator far too heavy to lift by itself however.

I use the dolly in the storage room and bring it over to behind the female onsen. I also listen to see if anyone is inside.

It works! You quickly bring it over to behind the fence and listen. As far as you can tell nobody is in the female onsen yet. You feed the cables under the fence and you feel it hit some bushes. Looks like you are still alive.

Alright. I will head into the male changing rooms. Change, take a towel, and enter the female side if nobody is there. Then wade through the water and hide in the bushes. When someone comes into the water I will shock them.

Wait. Before that I ask Monozaki what would happen if I am hiding in the room when the body is found. Will they all notice me or can I pretend like I just showed up with everyone else?

As you pass through the sitting area you notice Seiko at the vending machines. You enter the change room and notice that someone is in the male onsen. They likely do not notice you but they will see your clothing if they leave.

You successfully jam the door closed. After that you strip and take a towel and enter the female side without anyone noticing. Good thing there is a wall in front of the sitting area.

Now inside you wade through the water to the other side and find your cable near the back by the bushes. It looks like you will be able to hide well enough for your plan to work.

Seiko comes in, washes herself, and then enters the water taking sips of her drink she has brought into the onsen. She seems to notice the water was not completely still and is looking in the water for something. She comes closer to where you are hiding.

After making sure the cord will not fall into the water Nao will wade back through and leave the female side and go get his clothing on the other side.

As you enter the female change room you throw your wet towel into the bin and take a new one to prevent yourself from being nude. You sneak out and reenter the male change room. You throw your other towel into the bin. You notice a lot of dirt on the ground. The broom has been removed and you take a peak insnide, however it only looks like Taku is there. There are some used towels so someone came while you were gone.

You quickly get dressed and leave the onsen before Taku can notice.

Nao hides the generator and gas tank back where he found it and places the stuff back on the dolly. Nao now waits for the body to be found. Maybe returning to his room.
